This is a masterpiece of music. It sounds like the type of music you hear in movies when it cuts to a villain lair.

This perfectly encapsulates how the Chop Shop scene *felt* when I was younger. Amazing work!
Indeed! The scene itself, with the Robots clanking and clanging away, and Tom Waits' gruff voice with the orchestral version made me think of having a Steampunk version... Hence why I commissioned DrDiss!
This was used a Warhammer 40k tabletop RPG I played to describe The Underhive and it fits perfectly
This sent me down a path of nostalgia that is the Robots movie.
(Great movie by the way.)
I love this, but I personally feel like the "vocal" bits should have been played by noisy/buzzy trumpets (like the sounds they make in the army) during the more intense and exciting parts.
Reminds me of Dwemer ruins. I love it!
I wouldn't consider the dwemer industrious enough for it to fit

@@PelinalDidNothingWrong The chopshop was all about old metal, grinding toil and belching smog while the dwemer are more magic with a little steam. They're too clean

Hey there! I wrote this using virtual instruments, so creating a proper score from it would be a mammoth task. One which I don't have time to do, sorry.
However, I have added the MIDI of the project to the video description, so you can take a look and perhaps build a score out of it yourself.

What virtual instruments would you happen to use? Been trying to work on my own pieces lately, but cant find any truly good virtual instrument plugins.
Most of this was Orchestral Tools's stuff I believe (Berlin, Metropolis, etc). They're pretty good if you want to invest. Otherwise, OT has some decent free stuff, ProjectSAM recently updated their free orchestral library too. You could make something reasonably similar with those two.
Composer here inspired by the guy above me! I agree with Durrdiss; it is a worthy investment to get yourself some high-quality instruments. Although I also agree that skill, orchestration, and technique play a huge role in HOW your instruments will also sound. Thus, I continue to use EastWest's Orchestral instruments. They constantly have their libraries on sale for 60% off all the time. Every season is a Holiday with EastWest lmao

Depends. Is the game going to be free? If so, I don't see why not, so long as credit is given.
But if it's paid? No. This is a remix of a piece by Tom Waits, so not only would some kind of compensation be required for me, there would also have to be some for Tom Waits. And whilst I am fairly lenient with where my music goes, Waits may not be.
Probably safer to find original music for your game. Good luck!
