I have been enjoying watching these old homes being rescued. The cleaning, rebuilding and all the clever ways of doing the repairs I find fascinating. This video and watching this young man work to create a home has been inspiring to watch. Kentucky, United States of America
Because most of these people had left theirs hometown and worked in the cities for more than ten to twenty years. In China, the water and electricity supply will resume once you informed the village head, they will even help to repair the road.
I would assume that they just took the essentials. They figured they didn't need or could come back later for other stuff and never did. Or an elder was living there and passed. May be any number of reasons they left stuff behind.😊
Renovations are normally good. However, the staged elements get irksome. For example they almost always have a hidden key that opens the same kind of new lock on the door. I’ve not watched beyond this yet but this is normally followed by a house full of rubbish that needs clearing out (the previous owners must have been hoarders). Often for some inexplicable reason clearing up the garden becomes the next task. My this point one or two animals, generally cute puppies, appear on the scene. Also other people begin to get involved. Power tools that were not present appear and of course the video finishes before the house is filly renovated.
He is a young boy but he can work like a smart man. He is skilled in all aspects of construction. I think the roof may be problem , it may be leaking when it's hard rain.

I always wonder though.... in America we're all about preventing accidents..... why don't you guys ever wear eye protection when you grind wood or metal? It is always a bad idea to pour concrete directly on dirt. You should always lay at least 4" of small stones first then pour concrete over it.
