at 4am on the night before i started high school, i listened to this song to help me fall asleep. the next year, on the night before sophomore year, i did the same; i did it again for junior year, and now, perhaps for the last time, im continuing the tradition. it feels weird to think this song came out so long ago, but im so grateful that it helped me get through four of my simultaneously dreariest and dreamiest nights. after all this time, now a senior, i feel ready to face the sun again, as soon as this dreamy night ends.

I will forever remember how this song helped me barely pass my freshmen year of high school without needing to makeup any of my credits.

It's just that you need 4000 viewing hours on your channel to even monetize your video and to get that you definitely need to be making 10 minute + videos. Most times there's an ad at the end of songs. Most artists don't bother to put many ads cause 1-2 ads won't do much. The 10 minute time mark just allows you fit an extra ad before your video ends which is why it's so popular for channels that has already hit 4000 viewing hours

You know that feeling, when its late at night, but you cant sleep. You dont know why, you feel empty, not sad, but teary... its like everything looses all its worth, you feel drained of all emotion, leaving behind only a shell and tears. Thats what this song reminds me of. Not happy not particularly hopeful, not sad either.
My girlfriend and i just broke up after 10 years together and this song is really helping me right now. Thanks Lily for such an amazing song with so much feeling involved
