Finally getting around to fixing the paint on my grille of the 5th Gen... Replaced the old and ugly RAM letters with some paint matched Delmonico Red letters from Retroshop!! Whatcha think??

Those new grille pieces turned out great! Gives me an idea of how I want my truck to look since I just picked up a 2022 Ram 2500 Laramie with the Cummins last week and it’s also Delmonico red! Keep up the great content man!

I took em out for now until I figure out how to make them look nice… might see if my tint guy can tint over them!

John. I missed alot on this truck you've done. Curious how is the paint holding up on the front bumper? Did you PPF or ceramic coat it?
Yikes, she’s pretty chipped up, no going to lie it makes me upset. I didn’t do PPF but I wish I had. I did get the truck ceramic coated but don’t think it’s helped at all for rock chips 😞
What lift is that? Also rim and tire size?
Completely stock suspension. This wheel set up is 20x12” -18 and 33x12.50
All you had to do was vinyl wrap the chrome?...
Paint > Vinyl any day and every day
@@JohnWargo93 The vinyl is clear? It does change the color of anything, it only protects whether painted or chromed. If you had vinyl wrapped the chrome it wouldn't have chipped and you may not have been inclined to go through all that trouble. I have the same truck only in black. The entire front end is wrapped even the headlights, front 'RAM' and even the grill slots. If I hit a rock just heat it up with a hair dryer..irons right out.
@@jeffsikula2920 ahhhh… that’s a whole nother level. You’re talking about PPF? Paint protective film? Then yes, that stuff is amazing. Expensive but does wonders on keeping chips and whatnot away.
@@JohnWargo93 Yup...ppf. My whole front end from the door seam to the bumper and the rocker panels and then the entire truck ceramic coated was about $2200.
