Thanks so much for your feedback, an IRL car painter? That’s seriously cool. When we started out, we were aiming for a more realistic approach, but after playtesting, we found that most players loved the instant satisfaction of transforming surfaces. Things like orange peel and drying times, though, were not popular. Of course, we get that’s not everyone’s thing, and we really appreciate your perspective. In the end, we wanted to create something that’s easy to pick up, fun to play, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. I mean, one of the jobs is spraying a 50-foot giant robot, hardly your average day at work, right?
Does anyone knows if it will have the "aim mode" option like Powerwash simulator? Where you can switch to just moving the nozzle instead the whole body.
Thank you, that really means a lot to us! In the game, customers give you jobs to paint, and they’ll request specific colours. Once you’ve completed a job, you get paid, and that job is unlocked in Free Spray mode. In Free Spray, you can paint however you like, using any colours from the store and there’s no cost for paint!
You can spray lots of the environment around the jobs, things like houses, fences, the ground, flowers, and more. We leaned into that because we found it really relaxing, and it opens up a lot of creative possibilities, especially when you’re chilling with friends in co-op multiplayer.
In Career Mode(customer jobs), it’s a bit different. Paint has a cost, so you’ll need to manage your resources. You’ll paint objects for customers, earn money, and use it to upgrade your equipment, everything from step ladders and scaffold towers to new spray tools and even a cherry picker vehicle to help tackle those bigger jobs!
you know. this has good potential to become a great game. But with this short of a demo, you aint gonna build much "hype" or marketing. while i understand that this is just a demo, i find it a bit disappointing to only have one simple level in career and free spray. Especially when they plan a release somwhere in 2025. Don't get me wrong. Its most likely gonna be an amazing game and i have wishlisted it, but having a trailer that shows houses, bridges and what not, and then giving you only a car to play with, is a bit weird in my opinion.
Thanks so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it! We hear you loud and clear, and we’re planning to extend the demo playtime in the future. Right now, though, it’s just the two of us on the dev team, so we’ve got to focus on priorities like getting co-op multiplayer sorted. We hope that makes sense, and thanks again for your patience and support!
@@NorthStarVideoGames Wow, I did not expect a reply from the Dev Team :)! Thanks for that! And knowing that you DO try to look at feedback, wherever you can, makes me want to play even more. And as i said, i love the game and have wishlisted it because i think its gonna be great. And i do understand that you want to sort out other things first. Because after all its justa Demo, even if it is a short one. Thanks!
@@LazyboyLP Thanks for the wishlist and the kind words! We're just a 'micro team,' so every bit of support means the world to us (and keeps us ticking). . We'll keep doing our best to make the game as great as you think it's going to be. Cheers for sticking with us, even through the short demo phase!
this seems to be just powerwash sim but with paint lol
@@Trainerlynx exactly that’s why it’s gonna be a hit
@@Trainerlynx Ummm yea kind of

The way this is so satisfying to watch 😌 love your videos ❤
I feel like they should just be DLC for the power washer simulator
I feel like you can add this to your resume.
Car in the thumb nail: Dodge Challenger
Car in the mission: Plymouth Hemi Cuda
As a car painter happy to see this game coming out but i hope they make it more realistic mechanics being added

Absolutely! It’s already in the demo, just press E on your keyboard or use the Left Bumper if you’re playing with a controller.
So as i real body man it kinda nags that u gotta use a house paint gun instead of a car spray gun
Could you not select career mode? We need more!!!
Great vid lmao
Liking the game - but would prefer to choose colour of my car
