A long awaited video. Great to see you, Rudy! I hope you are well and happy. I got the ''hamster cage wheel wood chips'' reference by the way. Their was a specific smell to those chips. They typically used spruce, aspen, birch, fir and pine, but I vaguely remember a little cedar mixed in there as well. I could be wrong. That smell filled my room as a kid and I loved it quite frankly.
@@mangegnosis thank you so much for coming back. That’s actually makes a lot of sense. Never knew that. Now I wanna buy some hamster cage wood chips lol
It’s nice to see another video from you Rudy. Have you tried Oriental Velours in summer weather? I am asking as Brooke from Sainte Cellier said she enjoyed wearing it in the heat, so I am keeping the last of my sample to try over summer. Although, Australian summer is probably a bit different to a London summer😅 I sampled it more in the cooler months. I also think of autumn and winter as different categories in fragrance. Autumn is more about the change outdoors in nature and is reflected in golden, grassy style scents and maybe soft woods; whereas winter is more about being indoors cosy and warm with warm powdery florals and soft leather, warm saffron florals and possibly something delicious cooking, also reflected in my perfumes. Take care💛
Well said, couldn’t agree more about your fall vs winter break down. As far as oriental velours could easily work all year round. Just maybe not a hot summers day. Always a pleasure seeing you, Gail. Thank you
Interesting. I’ve seen a few counters at big stores and they don’t have it up for display anymore. Maybe once stock is sold out they’ll pull it? I don’t know
I never smelled any Celine !!!!😢 Los Angelesa kosot kaghaka 😢 I have a little sample of rose 31 it’s not bad but smells artificial. I never smelled Spice Blend either 😂
Great to see you back here. Some really good choices. 👍As far as the revised ingredient list, it may not necessarily mean that Vetiver Extraordinaire was reformulated- IFRA may have required a material to be listed that wasn't required before. This often happens. But it could've also been reformulated too. What was added to the new ingredient list?
Finally another video! You'd be one of the best if you made regular content! Have you tried memo african leather? Thinking that would be good for cooler weather
@@ryany2882 thank you so much. That’ll motivate me to upload more. I tried African leather in passing, but I might have a sample somewhere. From what I remember that would work very well in cooler weather
Great list 😎
