I’m worried about copyright violations! If I get it, it could ruin the video and I’d have to scrap that reaction forever. Someone mentioned something about including their logo at the beginning of their music videos in my reactions and I’ll be fine so I’m going to give it a shot after my next video that’s coming out tomorrow
@@RubberToez I use their official MV from and show it from the beginning with their label BigHit logo then you won't have any problems. You can access that via their official RUclips Channel 'Bangtan TV'
Just an FYI that their official MVs have English captions and are an integral part of their art. As long as you play the label’s logo in the beginning, you shouldn’t have to worry about a copyright strike. This song is from their Love Yourself series, specifically the second album Love Yourself: Tear. The album series tells an overarching story. You might enjoy the song Outro:Tear. It’s a rapline song, which has an amazing live performance from Wembley (the live performance is available with English subs and is really powerful)
A copyright violation is what I was worried about in regards to reacting to a music video of theirs! I’ll give it a shot with the video coming out after the next one thanks for your comment 🙏
K-pop is not a genre like pop. It's an industry that was influenced by US 90's R&B and Hip Hop and has since incorporated other genres like pop and EDM. It's more about performance, dancing, music video visuals, and a system where companies train young talent for years before they debut in a group. They wouldn't even call it k-pop so much in Korea, they would call it Idol music because the performers are trained to be Idol-like. BTS more than the average k-pop group not only mixes genres within songs but switches up genres within albums and between album sets/eras. Plus, more than the average k-pop group, they are heavily involved in the songwriting process. Thanks for checking it out. I hope you enjoy your journey!

@@RubberToez That's exactly right. BigHit/Hybe are really cool with people learning about BTS and sharing it. You actually have a higher chance of getting a copyright claim when you're reacting to the songs that aren't from their official channel than the other way around. One thing to remember is that (very broad generalization) unlike western pop, which was born and grew on radio with visuals taking more of a backseat until the rise of music videos, the k-pop industry developed on television, so a strong visual component involving choreography, costuming, makeup, and thematic concepts were as important as the vocal element right from the start. Another thing to keep in mind as you start watching BTS MVs is that some of them are part of a fictional storyline (BTS Universe, or "BU"). In those MVs, the songs work more as a soundtrack for the visuals rather than literally spelling out what's going on. In songs like "I Need You" or "Run", parts of the BU story are acted out. In songs like "Fake Love", there are no actual story scenes but instead there are visual references and call backs to story elements and scenes of other MVs. So on first viewing the MV for this song, there's going to be a LOT that seems surreal and have no relation to the lyrics. BTS: the fandom that makes us do homework to understand their catalog!
I have heard that theory in the first part of your comment before, but I really don't understand how it came about to be honest. Right from the start of the music industry, the visual aspect was extremely important which is why the artists were always so well dressed. Even back in the 1920's the jazz bands were stylish and had their own form of choreography. Little Richard was using makeup and showmanship way back in the 1950's and David Bowie was wearing makeup and performing contemporary dance in the 1970's, long before the MTV era. Even The Beatles used their haircuts, suits and dancing to make a statement in the 1960's. The only thing that K-pop groups are doing differently is that they have more members in their groups, as far as I can see.
@@djlivvy46 (Again, VERY broad generalizations ahead!) I think it's really a matter of tools and timing. And we're talking about what worked for the industry as whole, not necessarily what the artists might have wanted. Don't worry, there's no "right" first song to check out for BTS. It's always best to try a few since there's such a range though so it's hard to pin them down musically with 1 song. Glad you're checking out more to see more variety. There's nothing wrong with a Cypher being your first. I agree with checking out the songs first before the lives. I'm now wondering where this particular video came from, lol Like others said, it's from the MV which has that interlude that doesn't exist in the studio album -- it's part of a cinematic moment of the video.
The mv is important and as long as you use the offical MV and show the BigHit label first you won't get it blocked. They all have English lyric's on their MV's as well.
You are right. They put the translation over the MV and the sound effects on the MV. Mind you the original already has CC on the down right that are pretty good and seem to be the same. The MV is very good. I have seen many reactors do the full MV with the beginning logo. In their "Love Yourself" album they tell the story of a "perfect" relationship (first album) that breaks because the narrator is not true to themselves. In the last album we get the answer: you have to love your imperfect self first before you can love others. Fake Love is the the main single from the second album where it goes from "I don't know why" to "I do know why" and the relationship breaks. It is not necessarily a romantic one. It can be a relationship with yourself, friends, family etc. You nice! Keep going! 💜
8:00 try to react to their live performance because eventhough their MV are high quality, meaningful and artistic but BTS is better live. Sometimes their live also sound different from their original in term of music arrangement and their vocal and energy will bring you to the world of BTS. ARMY, please recommend a good live that is more of his taste that has engsh sub, please.
I think that is being done, but as he addressed it in the video, he prefers this. He doesn't know what he doesn't know. He doesn't even know that the reason people are suggesting the lives is because we are responding to his stated preferences. Maybe he will listen a bit closer to his friend that recommended he react to BTS in the first place. After all, they know him best.
Every BTS song offer multi layered experiences. Besides the lyrics, the visuals of the MV are telling stories as well. Many hidden meanings from lyrics often connect to the visuals in the MV. Moreover, they also relate with many hidden philosophical excerpts in understanding what they/people psychologically go through in their life. So I highly suggest to watch the MV since you will open another door of interpretations. Please use the official MV only (from HYBE LABEL). Enjoy!
Like every real artists, BTS is better live. Don't worry about music/production quality. They put in the money for it 😊 Good performance videos with great English subtitles can be found on 'Enjoy BTS more ' channel!
I beg you, don't put BTS' music in a box and don't wait for the "pop" to happen. K-pop isn't pop and BTS are barely even considered that. They are their own genre and are mixing it all together. Their songs are rarely even similar to each other, but you'll always know that it's BTS because they are the absolute legends in what they do. Their cute, bubblegum pop songs can really be counted on one hand and most of them were made during the pandemic to cheer people up. You clearly are into particular genre. I listen to hard music whether it's rock/metal or hip-hop but calling myself a fan of one particular genre would be too confining for me, almost suffocating, so being an ARMY (a BTS fan) was the easiest and most natural thing for me. If you like labelling the genres, BTS will be a tough cookie for you. Once upon a time I liked identifying the genres in music while listening to it but when BTS has found me things like that became meaningless.
That noise is the floor falling under Jungkook runs along the hallway. It was in sections and he had to run as each section fall under him for safety sake he was on wire's in case he didn't run fast enough and they edited the wire's out. You miss out so much without the MV.
You're missing a lot by not watching the omv. Always have subtitles on. Their choreo is always on point. I hope you will watch the music videos & lives. Just when you think their songs & videos are over they're not. BTS are multi-talented, caring guys who remain humble. Their fans (called ARMY) are ALL AGES.
I'm happy to see you react to another BTS song and hope you are interested enough in their variety to continue your journey with them. I see so many others have commented on the captions, lyric videos, and importance of official MVs. Let me address those requesting live performances. ARMY love to help newcomers LEARN about BTS. We know their vast catalog best (we even know by heart songs that the members themselves have forgotten, lol) including the many live performances of their music. You *SERIOUSLY* don't realize how much BTS varies from song to song, genre to genre, same WITHIN each album, nevermind that they are going on 10 years since debuting together as a group, and ALL SEVEN members have individual works. I could go on more about the variety to be found even with each individual's works since they grew from teens to men reaching their 30's, and still it will only be words scratching the surface. The friend that recommended BTS to you know your musical taste and chose a song that is a non-popular introduction to their music (very much not to say that it is an unpopular song). I'm sure your friend knew the unexpected direction of the song would appeal to you a bit more than more usual introductions, but might also shake you from some preconceived notions you night have unconsciously held. Those who viewed your reactions HEARD YOU, and responded with suggestions that MIGHT fit YOUR musical tastes. They suggested live performances not only because BTS are SUPERB live performers (blow your mind good) but also because they often perform with a live band and those versions of their songs tend to cross into music metal-heads really enjoy. There is a harder edge and authenticity that many of us that enjoy rock/metal particularly appreciate even more than the album version. You spoke, we answered, and we tried to assist you as you try to navigate through the vast content produced by BTS. I'm a bit confused why you would toss that assistance away, in favor of your inexperienced "preference", but ultimately, it's your channel and your choice. Just thought I'd try to shed light on the comments you're receiving. I'm looking forward to see where your BTS journey takes you.
For a lot of kpop videos, there are color coded lyrics videos that also show the photo of the person singing and usually has decent quality. The lyrics can be a little off sometimes with translation but are usually pretty good.
They also made a "rocking vibe mix" of Fake Love that has a more rock sound to it. Also the metal band Lies Behind Your Eyes did a cover of this song, BTS themselves reacted to it when they did a "reacting to fan covers" video for Glamour. 😂, check out the official music videos (mv) from hybe labels and add the subtitles (not the auto-generated ones). Add: don't watch compilation video's for now. If there's no offical mv, check color-coded lyrics videos (not jaeguchi's as mostly 100% correct)
OMG I just realized and no, it's not normal, you're right for noticing it! It sounded familiar but I'm 10000% sure the uploader added the subs to the audio of Fake Love MV?? any chance it was uploaded in May 2018?
hehe i like how you will pass to soft at hard BTS's songs hahahahaha you really gonna enjoy the ride 🤗 yeah the weird sound in back come from the MV. I think the peson how did this video just pick up the song from it and just put the lyrics on
some of the background audio comes from the fact that they took the sounds from the music video and there's some effects going on like floor collapsing, houses burning and stuff like that, the actual sound does not have it

The BANGTANTV channel has the original video and it's full of symbolism, it's great and with its deep lyrics it makes it a great experience. I recommend that you watch the full video with the logo included and with cc. On the channel, in addition to the original mv, this and many songs have dance practices, the choreography is very good. General information: they are 7 members: 3 rappers 4 vocalists. And they are all very good, each one contributes with his style. All 7 write, produce and actively participate in their music. All 3 rappers are active members of the Korean Songwriters Society. There are introductory and guide videos to BTS and the members, if that's of interest to you. Greetings.

Like others said, it's from the MV which has that interlude that doesn't exist in the studio album -- it's part of a cinematic moment of the video.
The mv is important and as long as you use the offical MV and show the BigHit label first you won't get it blocked. They all have English lyric's on their MV's as well.
Thank you for the comment! Music video reactions coming soon 😎
Part of The kpop experience are The visuals and music videos.
their live is ALWAYS better not joking you will be mindblown
Their live proformances are far better than their MV's and those are amazing.
You nice! Keep going! 💜
The music video comes with English subtitles
i got introduced to bts through their really unpopular solo rap songs too so😭 It's a unique introduction but i love it
8:00 try to react to their live performance because eventhough their MV are high quality, meaningful and artistic but BTS is better live.
Enjoy!
Thank you for reacting 💕
Try to react their live performances and their dance practice videos
Keep safe always 💜
Like every real artists, BTS is better live. Don't worry about music/production quality. They put in the money for it 😊
Good performance videos with great English subtitles can be found on 'Enjoy BTS more ' channel!
Welcome to Bangtan world! Gonna be a fun ride with so much story telling from Army fandom 🤭💜🇵🇭
The VIDEOS are a must
I love this song thanks for the reaction 💜BTS 👑💜
Please also check music video
For a lot of kpop videos, there are color coded lyrics videos that also show the photo of the person singing and usually has decent quality. The lyrics can be a little off sometimes with translation but are usually pretty good.
if you want a lyric video check out the color coded lyric videos. it shows you who's singing what and it's translated
They also made a "rocking vibe mix" of Fake Love that has a more rock sound to it. Also the metal band Lies Behind Your Eyes did a cover of this song, BTS themselves reacted to it when they did a "reacting to fan covers" video for Glamour.

I was impressed by the way you focused on the lyrics, closed your eyes and listened to the music. 감사합니다 💜 I hope you enjoy BTS' musical journey. 🙏🙏😘😘😘💞💞💕💘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I like that he was telling the music too, but since the only thing showing is the lyrics, that means he's not reading what's being said. Lol, missing half the song by not watching MV, then missing the lyrics...it's like being cut off at the knees and trying to run (no offense intended to real amputees)
@sharron roe hahaha love you, borahae 사랑해, 보라해💜 Hope you have a Happy day with Jimin's FACE like I'm so happy these days.😘🙆♀️ 🎉🎉🎉

Thanks for your subscription 🙏🙏
😂, check out the official music videos (mv) from hybe labels and add the subtitles (not the auto-generated ones).
Add: don't watch compilation video's for now. If there's no offical mv, check color-coded lyrics videos (not jaeguchi's as mostly 100% correct)
OMG I just realized and no, it's not normal, you're right for noticing it! It sounded familiar but I'm 10000% sure the uploader added the subs to the audio of Fake Love MV?? any chance it was uploaded in May 2018?
hehe i like how you will pass to soft at hard BTS's songs hahahahaha
you really gonna enjoy the ride 🤗
yeah the weird sound in back come from the MV. I think the peson how did this video just pick up the song from it and just put the lyrics on
some of the background audio comes from the fact that they took the sounds from the music video and there's some effects going on like floor collapsing, houses burning and stuff like that, the actual sound does not have it
Puedes primero escuchar o reaccionar a la canción y después ver su presentación en vivo así apreciaras mucho mas la calidad de artistas que son. Y no tengas miedo de hacer videos largos son los que mas apreciamos.
Greetings.
this was the mv sound you heard. the studio version dont have that
@ 4.53 you're correct! it's the MV, not sure why they did it hehe
Hola gracias por reaccionar a bts ellos son sensacionales en vivo y en sus vídeos sus coreografías son lo máximo los mejores te saludo desde México una Army que los ama
Their choreography for live performances and their visual storytelling in music videos are big pieces missing in experiencing them if you are just doing audio.
Wow, I really wish you had reacted to the music video of the song with the English subtitles. The sounds you are referring to are legit It's just this audio is taken directly from the music video and the sounds would have made sense with the visuals. It may be a little early for you for Spring Day unless you learn the true historical background for the song.
Hiii! Pls react to Now United - Wave Your Flag or Lean On Me (They are a global pop group made up of 18 members from 18 different countries. Now they are entering a new era since the original members' contract already expired and they are recruiting 3 new members from Brazil, Portugal, & Philippines which will be announced soon.)
Looking forward to seeing your reaction.
How about reacting to a guide by Taylor?
Might be a little too early for that video, I think
💜💜💜💜
i think its great you're watching with lyrics, but i think watching colour coded lyrics would be better! ( if not the MV ) it shows which member is singing which part as well!
They have an inspiring story please react to "BTS From nobodies to Legends 2019".......and "A Guide to BTS members " by Taylor...If you are doing Spring Day you must also do "Spring day explained by a Korean"" DKDKTV to really understand this important song💜
The sounds in the background are from The music video 😂
lol his face @ 4.42.. ehhhh on the MV there's like a break, where the music is interrupted pffffffffffffftttt whyyyy would the uploader add subs to the MV audio? lol I'm so confused
er... the actual mv already have english sub .....
😂😂 I was not aware of that at the time of filming this reaction
lol yeah the weird sounds you are hearing is because this person ripped the audio from the MV and not the song audio.
Please react to the actual videos...They mostly have english captions you can turn on
