I know another MPC One would be ideal. But I can't afford an MPC One, and this has batteries + portability. And it's an oddly sexy piece of kit. Again, I apologize for my question, I can make some decent beats, but I don't really have a grasp on how things work unless it's like MPC+MPC software. Or a MIDI controller and Reason. I'm assuming this would work as a MIDI controller when hooked up with USB. But I'm not exactly sure what I can do with what I created on it when not connected to a PC when I hook it up. I knew I wanted this when I saw the first picture of it this morning. Then I saw the price - so I bought two!
Looks like a good piece of gear.
the play feature where you can just dj that mix is whats got me interested.
I may get this one as my first sampler
1 pad (sound) per MIDI channel! WTF is that? I got 3 channels already taken, so guess I only get 13 sounds to trigger. And that sounds like a lot of work in the DAW.
It looks like a early 90’s answering machine
This makes up for that $1,500 field desk 😝
You can't be a boxing fan, a brother, AND a sampler fan without me hitting like and subscribe. Ali may be a distant cousin of mine (There are Clays in my family tree from KY). Cheers and keep up the good work from FBK!
lol respect
I could not possibly care less, but it's fun to watch other people get excited for new stuff, so whatever. I like my stuff, I don't need anything new.
Probably work for few months until it stops working so hard to beat the old gear that when a long way because could get parts for the ledge samplers all new stuff diposeabel not able to fix
SD slot?
I ordered to try the pads. Sold many samplers just because of the pads causing me physical pain.
Those look similar to computer key, which would be great for me
NGL, this is something I was looking for, for a loong time. Been looking around a lot. Looking at the MPC's, OP-1, the Polyend Tracker and also the Dirtywave M8. but I couldn't pull the trigger. Now THIS has my attention. The price is good too.
def copping it to go with mpc one + going different
Ahaha! Great content and fun video. Thanks bro
6 stereo voices are OK, sp404 used to have that, but 32 voice polyphony would have been nice, also is there time-stretching? overall real nice for a TE unit at £300
A banger in every way. Unbelievable
