I wish I could back in time and see the premiere myself. Hollywood’s brass was there to see Walt’s passion, Snow White. Imagine seeing Shirley Temple, Clark Gable, and Judy Garland in the flesh.
When Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs went on its worldwide release in 1938, it made enough money for Walt Disney to build a whole new studio in Burbank. A lot of tickets were sold at the box office.
They made spectacular premieres in that time. Snow White and the seven dwarfs was an incomparable hit, it was the first time that animated characters provoked so strong emotions in the public, as they were alive. I saw a rare documental of the reactions of the audience during the projection of the film in the 1937 premiere and it was amazing seeing the beautiful and famous stars like Marlene Dietrich, Judy Garland and others crying with some scenes of the film. Altought many years had passed, this classic movie will continue shining with his insuperable magic. Snow white is still the fairest of them all.
Disney proudly salutes the princesses that inspire us to dream. Before Merida shoots her arrow to make her target, before Rapunzel discovers the lanterns for her to return home from her tower, before Tiana opened her own restaurant in New Orleans, before Mulan saved her nation from the Huns, before Pocahontas championed the earth, before Jasmine went on A Whole New World with Aladdin, before Belle befriended and tamed a beast, before Ariel discovered another world, before Aurora believed in a wish, before Cinderella lived a dream, there was one who was fairest of them all and the one that started it all and her name was Snow White.
The movie that I love is a major hit. It all started with snow white the one that start the legacy of feature animation The first Disney princess in history 13:59 and here comes Mickey mouse Minnie mouse Pluto and Donald Duck
I was hoping to hear from Shirley Temple, Darla Hood and Judy Garland. Other than that, a beautiful cinematic achievement like Snow White must have deserved a premiere like that!
The film’s voice actors were actually barred from entry! Walt Disney wanted to preserve the illusion of Snow White. That she was real. This is also why the voice actors aren’t listed in the film’s credits. I believe Snow White and the Prince’s voice actors did sneak in though to see the film.

This is the only movie premiere I would've loved to go back in time to attend, I would've loved being there watching the audience react to it.

I wanted to see the cast of the movie because I wanted to see what the actors looked like in 1937
