    Test drove both last week with the wife (her car). I liked the Escalade and what they did on the new model. The tech was amazing in this high end model. However, she decided on the Navigator mainly because she felt the interior was more open and the material and comfort of the Navigator’s seats are amazing. Both nice cars but I wanted her to try both before deciding. I did have her watch this video before we shopped. She was leaning Caddy, but couldn’t compete with the Lincoln’s interior at the end.

      @StevenKenniffALW 2 года назад +4

      I have owned both, and I can tell you that more people may initially be impressed with the Escalade's infotainment screens, but that's about where the gimmicks end on the Escalade. The Navigator is a LOT more comfortable in all 3 rows of seating, and has a much more usable front center console AND a 2nd row console. Also, the 3.5 Ecoboost is WAY more responsive and powerful than the 6.2L V8 in the Escalade. It's crazy how they both have the same transmission and similar power numbers on paper, but in real world applications the Navigator gets up and MOVES by comparison.

      Lol. There’s no way the interior of the Lincoln with all that shiny plastic chrome is of “better quality” than the new Escalade. The reviewer literally covered this, not to mention you can look at the interiors and see the difference in attention to detail. There isn’t a SUV in this entire segment with a rear and as forgettable and ugly as the new Lincoln Navigator’s exterior design, so I’ll have to also disagree with the exteriors being a “tie”. No leaks just mysteriously consuming oil at about a quart every 1500 miles. Just got my second navigator after having replaced the caddy with my first twin turbo navigator that gave 120K of trouble free driving. The other bonus is the power difference too. The navigator is quicker to respond and has more power/torque at a lower RPM.

Ford and GM are the most unreliable pieces of shit. That’s why I only buy Mopar products. A Hemi with regular oil changes will outlive a 5.4 triton and a 5.3 Vortec put together any day. And don’t get me started on Cummins engines.

      mperez564, yeah...Corvette V8s are Legendary are are still racing...but shit. Cadillac V8s are racing in IMSA and Le Mans...they kicking ass, but you think they’re shit. All those SS’ GTOs, 442s, GS’ all had crap engines. Corvette Racing & Cadillac Racing are the elite in Proto1 and GTLM Racing against: Acura, Porsche, BMW, Ferrari and Ford and Mazda just to name a few. Mopar is not represented, not even with the slower cars...Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and Audi. Where is Mopar and their HEMI power...btw these are mostly stock engines so Dodge should have one entry. Including Mopar with the Fiat Family is an embarrassment, I’d hate for Alfa Romeo to be sold within 5 feet of a Charger, Challenger or Pacifica. Jeep was already great so Mopar had nothing to do with that, Dodge just copied Jeep products. They need to take more advantage of their relationship with Daimler, Mercedes refuses to acknowledge their cars have Mopar parts...I don’t blame them.

      I will admit, with the seats the cargo area in my '20 Navigator is absurdly small. However, I put them down anyways with a premium cargo carpet mat for that model. I rarely even need 4 seats, let alone 7, and I have an enormous elegant trunk. In the rare case I need 7, I'd just fold them up.
