I cannot believe that Telesco was fired. He hit on the draft and did a good job with the cap. I thought for the first time in a long time we did not look like buffoons when drafting. I really would have liked to see the team with four years of Telesco drafting. He seemed like a good fit and just a good person who helped the Raiders instead of being a hindrance. The only thing that seems to make sense is the coach they want desires x GM.

How can you say Telesco had a phenomenonal draft when he didn't upgrade the most important position, qb? Telesco was the guy that kept Brandon Staley after that playoff debacle against Jacksonville. Telesco should have never been hired. He also hired Mike McCoy and Anthony Lynn, both of whom were bad hires. Davis needs to hire a experienced President of Football Operations that has built a winning team. Tom Brady has zero experience in front office or putting together a team. What on his resume indicates that Brady should be in a position to hire a GM or a head coach?

So that might give him a better eye than the other two at evaluating talent. It’s just not a lock that Brady will save the Raiders

BPA is a draft strategy that can be used IF the franchise already has foundational pieces / cornerstone players in the building!! BPA is a strategy you can use when you have the luxury to do so! Even expansion teams don’t really have that luxury! All these insiders lording Telesco’s draft. When the very philosophy was jacked up right out the gate. Telesco signed a grand total of two impactful FA’s before the season. Both at the same position DT. Wilkins and Butler. Actions speak louder than words.
