The River is crazy...
The RIver, which is also called Rechenka. I cannot write in Russian, so I cannot spell it the way it sounds to a Russian speaker. Google gets it though. That performance of hers will show you that transition you are looking for. :)

I totally agree but "Rechenka" is a totally magic performance, in my opinion, her best ever !
The river is crazy good..both the vocals and the emotional connection she has to the lyrics.
"Rechenka" and "Darnier dans" would reflect her singing skills better.
Hello Andreas, I don't think that just this two songs are enough to demonstrate Diana's vocal skills. She is very versatile. She can sing many different songs and genres. She works hard at her vocal. And in particular, she has improved her upper register in the past few months by working with a top vocal coach (check her recent uploads of "Take On Me" ruclips.net/video/wUIUwQnIE_4/видео.html and "Havana" ruclips.net/video/1RPywquF6tA/видео.html ). A Russian Talent show for people who did not make it onto bigger talent show because of age or hard lives due to ??....
To this is called "you are Super" gives them a shot at making it so many stories out there about her birth mother not
going to try to get right one for you tonight....She was then adopted, and her stepmother noticed she had a speech
problem took her to doctor who said Music would help her with that, and after many lessons you have this wonderful
talented Diana of and side note She Won and Igor Krutoy....she is a contralto or mezzo-soprano voice which range generally
extending from around G3 to D5 or E5,.....and Last I knew she has extended that a bit

Hello Julia, wonderful reaction to DIANA ANKUDINOVA for the first time. Diana and GRACE VANDERWAAL are by far my two favorite artists. Both are special in different ways. I've probably seen a lot more than a thousand reactions to Diana, and many of the reactors were shocked the first time because of her unique voice. You did it very cool and analytical. Of course it's your job. Although I have seen hundreds of reactions to "Wicked Game", you have described her voice in words and mentioned things in a way that no other reactor has done. You are really good. Outstanding.
But for me Diana is not just the voice, she is the total package: unique voice paired with a great stage presence. Born to be on the stage, to sing and to perform. And nice to look at. Most of the reactions are to the videos from the show "You are Super" and for good reason. Every performance of Diana there and the total production of the songs are excellent. But I would recommend you to react to a small rendition of Diana at the age of 13: "Diana Ankudinova - "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" and "Jodel-Time" (Moscow Karaoke Cup)" (ruclips.net/video/i7UyKidIMyw/видео.html ) . since she was five, hence she is a stage animal. She is now 17 but, when she performed "Wicked
Game" she was fifteen. She was born on May 31, 2003 in Arsenyev, Russia which, is near the Pacific Ocean, the border with China & the border with Inner Mongolia. Relatives found her in
the street in the middle of winter with a broken collar bone and, none of them wanted her because
they thought she was mentally deficient. They sent her to a Russian Orphanage at the age of
3 and she was adopted out at the age of 5 by a Russian Foster Mother named Irene. Because her language skills were very poor, her foster mother sent her to a voice coach and they discovered
she loved music and could sing. In the 12 years she was adopted she has been singing publicly,
taking singing lessons, learned to yodel, sings in four different languages and has blossomed into
a beautiful talented teenager.

She entered her first kids contest in Russia where she sang a song that required masterful yodeling.
It was a masterpiece, a tour de force, some say the best yodeling performance in the history of videos showcasing yodeling, but in this performance it wasn’t just her amazing yodeling but also her body movement and stage presence and incredible as this might sound ( and I’ll shortly explain the reason why) but NOT ONE CHAIR TURNED!!!!
After the song was finished and the judges turned around , the audience interrupted what they were saying by giving Diana a 5 minute STANDING OVATION. After the applause, the judges had her perform a segment of a French song made famous by Edith Pief and after she sang it , the lady judge covered her face with both hands in utter shock , disbelief and SHAME. The judges said they didn’t press their buttons because they couldn’t teach her anything. She was beyond their level already. But this turned out to be a BLATANT LIE and one of the worse scandals in Russian talent contest history. Because the following day it was revealed that the contest was “ fixed” the winner was “bought” before the show started. A total travesty of justice and revealing how corrupt this Russian kids show was at the time.
And the following days over 80 million who watched the contest when posted on RUclips spit on the judges.
But she got her revenge the following year and year thereafter by winning not only the Russian contests in two consecutive years but 60 more awards and contests.
Please ( when you get the chance) I BEG of you to at least privately react by YouTubing “ Diana Ankudinova yodeling”.
And you’ll witness a yodeling masterpiece and if you stay to near the end of the judges commentary ( making excuses and lying) you will hear a brief portion of the French song the judges asked her to sing that she NAILED!
And there is a video of her outside a mall at age 11 singing this same French song but the complete version and she KILLED IT!!!! And when you’re convinced that she’s one of the best female vocalist in the world ( like millions of others including myself) you may want to react to a couple of her newer songs: ( she just turned 17 the other day) like “by your voice”.
I promise you if you continue to publicly react to Diana ( “Rechenka,” “Human” , “Wicked Game”, “Yodeling”...your subscriber base will go through the roof!!!!
She’s now almost as popular as the great male pop-op vocalist Dimash. And has her own Facebook fan club. And rumor has Diana and Dimash will perform together in concert one day and when it happens I can assure you when the upcoming concert is announced, it will be SOLD OUT in less than an hour.
And if I could, I would mortgage my house my kids ( just kiddin) my everything to watch them perform together in concert.

Stop the hysterics. The scandal described by you on The Voice Kids occurred in 2019. The results were revised almost immediately - you should have said so. Diana did not participate in this competition. She participated in The Voice Kids only in 2017.

В интервью она говорила, что когда жила на Дальнем востоке, ее просили не участвовать в конкурсах, потому что тогда не получалось соревнования. Её прекрасно знали во Владивостоке, и если она участвовала, то победителя знали с начала конкурса.
2. Не говорите про "купленных" судей как про факт. Ничего не было доказано, потому что никто не жаловался и не расследовал. Вы путаете с другим скандалом. Судьи и передача получили свою порцию народного гнева.
Есть ещё несколько неточностей. Вообще, любовь к артисту - это хорошо. Хотелось бы, чтобы вы говорили о ней только правду. Это несложно, надо просто это делать. Разделять факты и своё мнение, эмоции, надежды и так далее.
Several errors.
1. Diana won many children's competitions, long before "Voice-children". In an interview, she said that when she lived in the far East, she was asked not to participate in competitions, because then there was no competition. She was well known in Vladivostok, and if she participated, the winner was known from the beginning of the competition.
2. Don't talk about "bought" judges as a fact. Nothing was proven because no one has complained about and not investigated. You are confusing it with another scandal. The judges and the broadcast received their share of popular anger.
There are a few more inaccuracies. In General, love for an artist is good. I would like you to tell the truth about her. It's not difficult, you just have to do it. Speak separately about the facts and about your opinion, emotions, hopes, and so on.

Julia, you are so right! She talked about it after this performance. She had have the problem with her voice. They went to the doctor, he said her glands were swollen, or it was some tear in her throat?! Buy now I forgot what it was exactly. Her doctor gave her some special diet and she to her fans: "Don't worry! I am alright!" And I saw later her voice was stronger [how stronger it could be in Diana's throat?!], maybe, it is a wrong word, but it got a different, richer qualities, in terms of depth and the higher notes. You should listen to her resent performance. You would be surprised even more. Listen to her "Rechen'ka" from 2 years ago and now, she did it ...just a cappella: You would see clearer the progression of the development of her voice qualities. It is just example. I was trilled with her cover "Havana", and her song of Delilah in Arabic "Halvah".

Julia ...Nice reaction. Check here back story. She comes full circle from as bad as it gets all the way to where she is at this time. As an abused child she couldn't speak and was inspired when she hear other children singing at the orphanage. Speech came from musical sounds.

Hi Julia, as always I love your reactions. Yes she Yodels! When she was 13 she auditioned for The Voice Kids Russia singing Yodel Time. She sang it beautifully. But, there was a problem with the judges. If you can stick with their talking Russian for a bit. She was requested to sing something else. She sang a few bars of non je ne regrette rein. I won't tell you what was wrong and spoil the surprise. I'll just let you find it yourself. Anyway, yes. She sounds like Cher to me too!

The music is dripping like honey, creating worlds and she is taking you to them.
I envy the fact that you've got all these amazing performances to come. I can't count how many times I've watched her videos now and each time they make me happy. She is simply sensational and if there's any justice in the world she will soon be recognised as a world treasure and not just a Russian one.
I see where the usual suspects are being suggested, all from this competition, and they are outstanding. But, if you're looking for a couple of wonderful submissions she posted recently, home recorded and not as much production, try "Havana" and her sublime take on the A-ha classic, "Take On Me". I suspect you'll be pleasantly surprised.

As you made a trilogy for Nightwish (which was amazing as well) for Diana Ankudinova you could make a trilogy, beside Wicked game there is the song Human and Реченька/The river which shows her complexity and skills the last was recorded when she was 14 years old during the same song contest. "Take on Me" by Diana is done in her home with her equipment during quarantine. You will see her style and voice with no electronic manipulation. She is a master at her current age of 17.
