I recently found your channel and I am loving the quantity and quality of your videos! I recently became a father of two and am working my way through your videos during the long nights with a newborn. I’ve only been into newer style knives but I’m learning a lot. Thanks for what you are doing!
Awesome sir!! Welcome Aboard and thanks for watching and supporting the channel! Congratulations on your new addition to the family!! God Bless you and your family!!
Doc, I would like to see all your knives spread out on a video sometime. It would probably be like the blade show you attended. Wow, you can sure find them! Happy summer!
So thankful to you and your service, my brother-in-law was in the Marines and spent a tour in Vietnam, he was the closest thing I had to a brother, I lost him last Friday June 21st, he was a very special person may he RIP ! You Marines are a special group of men ! God Bless you brother!!
Next time you are near Orlando, make sure you take the Randall Knife tour. They have a wonderful museum that includes thousands of their knives and some of the knives that flew with the Gemini astronauts.
Kevin I appreciate your hard working in taking us along in this extraordinary knife hunt! Always have fun 🤩 watching, it’s like we’re with you right there. Yes be safe on your travels. God Bless.
Awesome video. Great knife scores at PCB. I like the Schrade and Buck lock blades. Have a safe trip home and give Bucky the Bear my best when you get there.
Some very cool finds Mr Kevin sir and I hope your doing well. I went to Panama City for my senior trip. I hope you enjoy your trip and God watches you over you buddy. Thank you for all you do and have done. World needs more people like you. Have a good week
I have a schrade 60t that my grandpa bought me for christmas one year i belive its from 1996. Its perty much still like new. I love it and will never get rid of it. I baught a new china made one for 15 on clerance to ise as a beater knife so i dont lose the usa made one.
God's protection behind and before you on this trip. Good finds on all those knives! New shop will really boost your video presentation even more and create a cool vibe for your channel. I have an Imperial easy open similar to yours, I will have to pull it out and compare.
My Imperial is dated 1936-1952 if I read the chart correctly. It is in really good shape with amazing snap and beautiful bone scales. God will never abandon us. Mike
The Buck 110 has a nice deep hollow grind opposed to the flat grind that the Old Timers have . So for a hard use knife the OT might be better but the Buck is a better cutter for sure . great video !
I was going through some stuff in my basement and I found my grandfather’s zippo it’s a 1967 going by your zippo date chart and it says United States Army infantry fort benning Georgia. He was in WW2 as an infantry man. I always tried to get him to tell me story’s about the war but he would rarely talk about it unfortunately.
@@theknifedoctor it was all jammed up, the wheel wouldn’t spin, the whole inside of the zippo case was filled with I think was flint ash. Took it all apart cleaned it up replaced the flint and wick filled her up and she lit first flick!
Happy Monday Mr. Kevin!! Hope you have a great start of your week. I was able to go to the Texas Surplus store last week and was able to score a some Bear & Son, Case, Buck and Shrade kifes anywhere from $3 - $8 each... I did get dooped by a few knifes that I thought were made in the USA but they ended up being made in China. But for what I paid for them It's not bad. As soon as I have some time I'm gonna send you some knifes for the auction and I want to see if you can get one of the knifes I got fixed. It's a Bear MGC It needs some new scales. I can buy the material for the repair. I'll shoot you an email to see if you can do it before I send it in. I also got a Schrade 34OT Old Timer 100 Anniversary and I'm on the lookout for that shield but the knife itself is in perfect condition. Anyway!!! Thanks for the videos and like a lot of people, you have got me looking everywhere for knifes hahaha.
Very nice Kevin!! I wanted to say I am headed to Newport North Carolina for the Wife and I's vacation on Friday! Woot woot!! LOL The 29th this weekend i will be at Smokie Moubtain Knife Works for the Case Knives yearly Family reunion you should go that would be sweet!! lots of giveaways and would love to meet up with ya!! What ya say??
@@theknifedoctor Maybe next year you can go on their RUclips channel the Case knife representitive talks about the show some very tare knives being given away I will let you know if i win one!!
Anyone else think the knives find the Dr. instead of the Dr. finding the knives? Case in point - buy the Uncle Henry, find an original sheath the next day. Meant to be.
Hey Kevin, Just curious on the knives you buy and trade, what do you do with the majority of them? I know that you auction a few of them and are getting several from members but what is your goal in collecting knives? I have been collecting and trading along with making and repairing knives for over 50 years and have quite the collection now but it’s time to let go of many of my knives. And remember knives are only worth what someone is willing to pay 💰 you for it!
I keep them. I give some to my family. They’ll be passed on to my sons. I don’t usually sell. I may do some selling soon just to help me buy more knives and equipment for my shop.
Good afternoon Sir, so, I was wondering….. do you have a “knife repair” business? You know, fixing a broken blade or even a blade that no longer has any snap? Just curious as I have a couple vintage knives that could use your service if possible.
I envious of Kevin’s dexterity when handling knives.
Thank you!!
Very nice haul can't wait for the cleaning video. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸 🙏
Thanks Howard!!
God's speed, and safe journey home. God Bless you and yours Brother.

Hey Kevin, I sent you an email about that trapper! Love watching these treasure hunts!
Thank you!! It’s actually on the way to another knife channel as a surprise gift. I’ll take a look at the email.
Great finds. I thought when I seen the colonial in the last video that it was a Gerber LST in red, cool find.
I know. Same here! Thanks for watching!!
I can’t believe you passed on the Brownie knife and the Queen stockman. 😳
Just didn’t interest me. The queen main blade didn’t have any snap. Just small also. The brownie knife was cool, but just didn’t make me want it
I really enjoy your videos!
