Great stuff bud, love your passion for these gorgeous pocket knives. Keep the videos coming and congratulations on getting your welding ticket ;). I liked that whaler the most but all them knives were great :)
Awesome great quality Case Knives you have I love the canoes ,Trappers, and Copperheads,I like all of them but your right that 1970 trapper is saweet..👍
Man oh man Crawford! EXCELLENT knives and Excellent prices. I NEVER find smokin deals like that! You know my favorite pattern! The COPPERHEAD! You scored two excellent ones! I’m glad you got them! If you ever decide to unload them you know who to call! 😊
Good lawd son! You outdid yourself on that haul! At this rate you’ll have a noted collection by the time you are 25! Believe or not the whaler is my favorite because I’m a huge fan of single blade rope knives with wood handles. But they are all extremely fine pieces and so happy you scored them for such incredible prices!
I am from Western Australia. I picked up a Case tested XX no 23476 black/Green Natural canvas Micarta Smooth large stockman new in box for AU$44.00 (Retail here in Australia for AU$190.00) Made in 2023. This is my first Case knife. I purchased it a local Pawn shop.Keep up the videos
Every one of those knives that you scored is absolutely beautiful. I mean my favorite would probably have to be the canoe. I’ve never seen that shield before but you know everybody loves your grandpa. He’s definitely my hero. I got so much respect for my elders and just think about all the trials and tribulations and things that has gone through in his life fought for our country, a great guy it would be my honor to be able to meet him in person someday thank you for sharing your pick ups you know it’s funny as I recently picked up. I didn’t know it was called the whaler but I just picked up one of those. It was like $35. It’s got wooden handles in a bail, but the blade has no markings on it other than case XX USA, it doesn’t have none of those dots. THANK YOU 🙏 GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 😊😊😊😊😊
Smooth brown bone then the red trapper. Great score brother. I've loved Casexx I started my son collecting them he's now 36 an has an awesome collection. I just picked a few more up they are coming in the mail. I enjoyed your video.Good luck on your next find.
Great haul, awesome to see and thank you for sharing! The large stockman spiked my interest so, I did a little research. Case used only nickel silver liners in the 1970’s for the 75 pattern until 1978 when they started to transition to brass. In 1980 the transition was complete and only brass was used. There was also an 1978 65 pattern example with what I believe to be the same bone scales in the book and it’s referred to as ‘reddish bone’. That sounds pretty accurate to me. Thank you for giving the chance to see an example and I really enjoy learning, especially vintage Case knives.
My FAVORITE for sure is the 1970 Purdy Red Bone Trapper!! Man what a haul you hot there Crawford!! Im definitely jealous!! I just saw a 1976 red bone stockman go for almost $200 on eBay the other day.
For scales, I think I like the green bone, but for overall awesome knife...definitely, 1970 trapper...Year I graduated from high school...nice second vid on the knife show all, buddy...looking forward to the wrap-up...Jim
My Fav would be #1-10, Why, they all have what i call "Paw Paw" Tiner!!! Of course, with all Respect to Mr Wade!! Young Man You ROCK!!! Barlow Madness!!!
Well I was gonna say nice looking hat but the knives sure out did it. Love me some no brass knives. I got 2 answers. My favorite on the table would be the copperhead but if it’s going in my pocket it’d be the 6392. My preference as the perfect sized stockman.
The trapper for sure. I got a soft spot in my heart for All of case redbones. Other than stag thats my all-time favorite handle material! Great video as always man. My grandfather left me a 70s model whaler his uncle gave him sometimes in the late 70s or early 80s and it is the only whaler i have ever seen that has finger grooves put on it from the factory! Its one of those knives i could never part with. Also what are your thoughts on the GEC #22? I just ordered one in sambar stag and its the single blade wharncliff, i know its a smaller knife but i edc a case small swell center jack.
@carolinaknives I agree it is a little small for me aswell but a .22 magnum has always been my favorite caliber so I had to get one when they came out with the single blades especially with the wharncliff blade! Thank you for your input man I really appreciate it. And I have another question if you don't mind. Do you know what angle I should sharpen my #62 pocket carver at? Thank you for the info brother.
For the pretty bone one Case used to let their employees once a year build one knife To keep and that's what it looks like cause it don't have a pattern number

A bit of a guess but perhaps the 80’s stockman is a 47 pattern (3-7/8’s long)? It looks like it could be a rare example to me. Beautiful scales.👍

That Copperhead is what Bro Seth, calls "puurdy bone"!!! Barlow Madness!! 🗡️💯👍🙏🔥🔥
No doubt!
The first one you showed is what CASE collectors call green bone. Highly collectible. BTW, those liners aren't steel, they're nickel silver.
What a haul. Little jealous haha. Great job man. Keep it up.
