I lost my phone at an F1 race. I could see it was in the bathroom on find my phone but I couldn’t get to it before it moved . We finished watching the race and had hoped it would be turned in. It was not. We could see it move to the parking lot and then hit the road. My husband was like welp it’s gone they stole it. But from the get go I imagined myself holding it back in my hand and telling him I told you so. So we get home and I am in disbelief that I hadn’t gotten it back. I didn’t let go. I kept thinking noo it’s my phone I’m getting it back some how. I’m supposed to get it back. Then a few hours later we got a call from a lady who found it and didn’t know what to do with it. Once he flipped on the lost phone, they were able to call us. They left it with the hotel lobby with our name to pick up. Got back my phone the next day and said told you so. My husband is slowly starting to understand the law of assumption 😂
