The step Nigerian stars are taking against afrobeats will only lead to the genre phasing out, this is the same attitude that affected dancehall. Afrobeats can only be stronger as a movement. Lets give honor to whom honor is due.

Nigerians are getting individually greedy. Now we don't even want Nigeria, which is our country to progress its absurd... this davido, burna boy, wizkid generation are very selfish. Tiwa savage, olamide are the only real legends left in that generation.

Is it by force to be under afro beat genre the point is all this artiste are Nigerians that is the main thing that matters nobody can decide your genre for you it is the artiste that decide there genre themselves

For ur info, artist do get confused about the genre they sing. So, it is not about what you the artist classify ur song, it is about what the general populace see ur song.
In conclusion, you cannot be releasing afrobeats songs and be claiming country music, its not possible. Upon all the shout fireboy shouted about not being an afrobeats artist, his latest song is still Afrobeats o😂😂...you see how confused those artists are

I am laughing in Swahili😂. The so called gate keepers are the one holding on to Afrobeats and trying to force all the Artiste to that rope of movement! Everybody wants to be recognized and be seen as the head of the movement, knowing fully well that the music industry in Nigeria is full of backstabbers.
