    Thank you so much for all
    The tutorials you give us! I’m super grateful!
    I’ve a new grand baby boy, on the way…. due in July, he will be our first!! And I’m crocheting as fast as I can!!
    I just picked up my yarn for this beautiful blanket today!
    I am also making a keepsake heirloom blanket for my daughter for when the baby comes, as a very special gift too! But I can’t decide what blanket of yours I want to make! Every time I think I’ve made my mind up… I find another of your patterns that is just so beautiful 😅💕!!
    We all need more arms!! That would solve our crochet problems!! Hahaha!!
    Much love from Oregon, Trina ❤❤

      Ha ha! I've thought of that too, but just think how complicated it would be to find clothes with all those arms!! Congratulations on this new life in the womb. Babies are such gifts from God!

    I’m a total fan of the bright neon colors! I’m going to be torn between this color way, primary colors, or the red, black and white that “experts” say babies see best. I might have to make one of each 😂.

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  6 месяцев назад +2

      That's a great idea! The red, black and white sounds like a wonderful choice Dana!

      I hate the idea of black and white for babies. I don't like it for myself either.😂
      I always used pastel colours.😁

    Good morning, I am enjoying crocheting this pattern using my stash. On row three, I had to slow you down because you stated 3 DC however you crocheted 4 DC after your chain 3. Just wanted to confirm which is correct. Many thanks for your support.

    • @erikagrubbs3630

      Yes, she confuses me to. I keep repeating the video and she always says 3 dc, but she crochets 4 dc. Which is it? Help! I am on my third row.😅

    • @pennysilver9906
      @pennysilver9906 6 месяцев назад +1

      I am going to crochet with what Bonnie is doing in the video and not what she is saying. In row 3, I am going to crochet 4 DC.

    Hello Bonnie. I'm working on this very intersting stitch for a baby blanket. I have several of these RH stripes yarns and I am using them from my stash. I have figured out the two row repeat, however I believe on Row 3, starting at 10:58 there might be the wrong number of DC's for the shells spoken? Should there be 4 DC's for the shell stitch, as in the beginning row? Thank you for sharing.🌷🌷💗💗

    I have been working on a baby boy blanket but I keep frogging it out. I really like this pattern but I don't think the Storybook stripe yarn from AC Moore (yes old stash yarn) will do it justice. I think I'll switch to solid blue Red Heart (again old stash) to show the pattern better. I think I would like to change the border though to straight edges. Hmm 🤔

      @BonnieBayCrochet  6 месяцев назад +2

      Oh how I miss A.C. Moore and their yarn line!

    Actually, I agree, but pediatricians say babies see black, white, and red first. These colors supposedly boost learning and creativity.

    Is there a multiple count to use this pattern on a straight across afghan? Thank you! 🦋

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  6 месяцев назад +1

      You can add multiples of 4 to the existing starting chain to make this wider.

    As a long time admirer of your art and skill, I am saddened to see the Israeli flag behind you. The UN …the world…has stated Israel is carrying out a genocide. Do you stand for genocide?How much did they offer you to display this?
    Shame on you!

    • @BonnieBayCrochet
      @BonnieBayCrochet  6 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know where you are getting your information on this. My sources say otherwise. The UN is not a pure source in any way, shape, or form. We will have to agree to disagree on this one, and thankfully in a free society we can still do this.
