Wallace Chung oh my heavens ! I punish myself watching this scene every time. The beauty and pain in this is gripping. 😢😢😭😭😭
Its probably the first time in years that he has actually slept , because she is holding him, we have to remember these two absolutely loved each other deeply, they married each other in a church when they were abroad, they were torn apart by his dreadful father, Dr Nie didnt know why she just abandoned him and he has literally been living with utter heartbreak and rejection and dealing with severe psychological issues since then, she has suffered horrendously aswell and had to give birth to their beautiful son without the man she loved, its a tragic love story that shows us the pain and devastation that interfering family members can cause. But this drama shows us that this couple never stopped loving each other and they work together for their son Ping Ping who is unfortunately very ill. Its a hard watch drama, but its so worth it.
But he wasn’t willing to fight his father and pursue her, never ever.

Seen plenty of scenes where father get to know about the child after a long time, but this particular scene is really stands out for the acting done by Wallace chung. He enacted so very well, the guilt, tphe agony he goes through for abandoning her at such time , the actor played it so well, his body language was so perfect.

Wallace is exceptional in this drama, he lost alot of weight ( hes slim anyway) to play the role of the tortured and love lorn Dr Nie and it is absolutely heartbreaking to watch him in some of these scenes, ive seen them countless times and i always cry, his acting is just perfection. I personally wasnt sold on the female lead, i get that she lived an incredibly difficult and challenging life much worse infact then Dr Nie, but its the actress herself that is just very one dimensional in this role, maybe its me?. Ping Ping is the absolute show stopping star of this drama, he is just adorable and a wonderful little actor. ❤❤

Нет, вам только это кажется. У них своя судьба и не надо лезть в их жизнь и уж тем более заставлять их страдать. Детей надо просто любить, уважать их решения, их выбор, помогать им. Это же так просто.

He’s just so heartbroken on her account because he finally knows what she has had to go through. He has great empathy for her, for all her pain and suffering . He probably would have rather gone through it for her than allow her to have suffered so much. That’s how much he loves her.

个人还蛮喜欢他的港普，非常有特色。再说，这样才能最真实表现出他的演技。这场哭戏，如果不是真声，恐怕效果不会这么好！
