You can use a black paint marker for the moon! It is SO MUCH EASIER than trying to paint with a brush.

I enjoyed your Halloween creations! To get rid of extra paper on your pictures; I have watched others burn the edges of paper to remove it and it stops burning when it reaches the mod podge; try it :)

I made the moon about 3yrs ago and hubby didn't like it at first, I believe it's because we watched the 1902 movie A Trip To The Moon, but it later grew on him. 😊

I made a man in the moon sign to add to my Halloween decor last year! I used the same face you chose... it's a great one! I flipped the direction of the face so it would be looking at the paper bats I placed on the same wall. I also brushed on moon craters with a very light grey paint. I absolutely love it! I might try your framed ghosts or trivet makeover ideas. So fun!

🙌🏼Summer-ween 🖤🕷️ If you love Halloween like I do you have to start early. I LOVE these videos and everything you do in them. I love seeing someone else enjoy using their homemade wax as much as I do. I only buy antique wax and clear wax. I have used the clear wax to create all of the other colors I have needed. It’s much more affordable and the options are as endless as the paint colors available. It may seem like a strange request but I’m curious what you would do with doll parts? I have an abundance of them and have done some DIY’s with them since I am also a horror fan. However, I’m curious what you would do with them to fit more into your elevated style?
Yes! LOVE Halloween! 🎃 making your own wax really is the best! You are correct, it’s cheaper and the options are endless.
As for the doll parts, I just recently saw doll faces glued to plaques/trivets (similar to the ones I used in this video) and they were made to look bronze! I think they looked really cool and creepy yet still classy. I’ve also seen some doll arms coming out of an aged mirror! I think they would be fun to use the heads over candelabras! Maybe cut the eyes out and add LED lights under the heads! 😁
I loved the 2 frame pictures, question: when you print the rice paper how do you get your printer to take it, and when you heat set it does that help it not bleed when you mod podge it

Thank you! 😊 the rice paper I get from Amazon here: amzn.to/4bw17z8 goes through my printer like a piece of paper with no issue, but if you have trouble, use double sided tape and tape it to a piece of printer paper or thin card stock. Just make sure it’s a little smaller than the paper or card stock so that’s what your printer grabs. As for heat setting, I haven’t tried it with the rice paper but I do know it doesn’t work with regular paper or tissue paper (it still bleeds). Someone here in the comments suggested hair spray or a spray sealer to set the ink! I haven’t tried it yet, but I bet it would work great!
