holy shit youve got hell of a personality i love your commentary so much. ive recently got into the game and these videos are really informative as well as interesting. thank you
Even though they fall within the close range unga bunga archetype, I like that the Ducketts encourage picking your shots more with the slower fire rate (which also helps with recoil management) and better effective range, and that the Coquillets now essentially trade consistency and upper range effectiveness for spammability. Both weapons have a better, more defined niche now imo with the Ocellus nerf - Ducketts reward a bit of patience, Coquillets encourage getting in as close as possible and emptying the clips
Great video and love the build breakdown, lot of thought and consideration put into it! Question, when you were describing chasing kites with AB around 22:30 you stated you roll your stick forward and press X again. I’m assuming you have AB mapped to X, but how does rolling the stick forward cancel the AB and not just make you kick when you press X again? Just looking for clarification! Thanks!
@NibbleSnarph yah whatever your jump button is. Roll your stick forward and press x and you kinda just float forward instead of hard stopping like pulling back on the stick
@@W1Robur damn what a quick reply! I use R2 for Jump, I will have to practice rolling the stick forward and using jump at the same time. I usually don’t touch the stick at all when cancelling an AB bc half the time I dodge unintentionally. That would also explain why I have trouble catching kites, you make it look so much smoother!
Love the look of these arms and I'm so glad they're good now. Unfortunate that decals don't go onto the big circular plates on the sides though. Would definitely increase the Armored Drip tenfold if they did.
Man before the patch there's a lot of heavy ac and deleted me from existence with their charged shoulder laser cannon in the hit that not even landed on me, it's just frustrating to play in that kinda meta environment, i even get a S rank at B rank promo to A rank. After the patch it's getting better, i actually start winning with the build i like, hope this fun meta environment can be consistently tho
What you demonstrated with those NACHT legs and the boost distance is something a lot of people don't know. The boost distance and speed are aided by the leg's jump stat, yes, but throwing a long boost duration onto a long jump gives diminishing and in some cases negative returns. A perfect example is to equip ALULLA on NACHT, then equip NGI or 12345. Youll see just how sluggish of a QB you have with those long duration ones with NACHT. NACHT legs help with QB that have a certain QB speed to duration ratio, but those high performance QB like NGI or flugel arent helped much by NACHT.
That kinetic "kite" also had a build very similar to an early rifle build i had. Ive sicse moved past the RANSETSU RF for dual 66LR. FIRMEZA legs, VP-40S core, and works much better. Much better stability more defense, just as fast. Easier to tag people with 66LR than kinetics.
FYI, I believe QB reload starts at the end of the duration. So you’d add duration plus reload to determine how frequently you can QB. This is why Allula’s are so good. If your opponent’s fcs lock time is longer than .65, they literally cannot lock on to an Allula QB spam.
Nice build. Very similar to a test build that i have been playing with. Has and alternate version with VP-40S as well as ine with ALBA. NACHT legs. I use BU-TT/A on the 40S frame and LD on the ALBA. That build is deadly. Ill have to try the FIRMEZA or ALBA legs to see what i get... Oh yeah, the VP-40S has just enough recoild control to make sure the DUCKETT don't spray wild, so theyre a march made in heaven for DUCKETT melee builds.
I made a build almost exactly like this before the patch. Alba legs and core, Basho arms (that I switched for the VP-46S for recoil control and defense), Shade Eye, Ocellus. Dual Coqs for the same reason, stagger machines, Huxley to build passive stagger and hold impact when out of range. My build used Alula boosters and the HMMR though, as melee thrust doesn’t matter with no lunge. HMMR did respectable enough damage (at least used to). I had a copy build that used the Bunk instead. What I don’t see people use and wonder why is the VP-20D gen. For reasons beyond my understanding it has insanely high EN efficiency so the regular recharge takes like .1 second and really good post red-line delay and capacity. With how fast it can recharge itself, the less total capacity and slower recharge delay when not in recovery than the San-tai barely matters imo. With the VP-20D or S you can achieve infinite flight with a lightweight build, in fact the build you’re using now should be able to. If you’re in the air and red-line, it comes back fast enough that you barely lose any altitude.
Not that infinite flight matters much for a build like this typically, but it performs well enough in more grounded gameplay that I don’t see the need for more capacity unless I’m using a lot of melee cancels. I’ve made other builds that do absolutely need it, but I’ve found that the infinite flight helps to catch up to and stick to builds that like to stay in the air, with little to no downtime. Apologies for the yappin.

@@W1Robur just checked, ming tang with my suggested frame nets you 2k more en efficiency with a quicker recharge delay, switching to spd booster for better neutral and cheaper ab also helps, the melee is slightly worse but is really only a difference of 12 meters by the end of the first half of the laser slicer attack, which if youre using exclusively as a stagger punish shouldn't really matter

@mohin8256 in my opinion, it's close to the best CQC lightweight build.
