This show falls into the same vein as “THIS IS A KIDS SHOW?????” As Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated and that’s why I love it.

I had the same mindset for the Gravity Falls season 2 finale
for me the owl house, amphibia, shera and the princesses of power and kipo should be tv-14 (if you don't know all of these shows your crazy) and I almost forgot gravity falls.
And Steven universe future
this episode was... something
i'm 100% certain if the crew were given more time to develop their ideas and not have them more crammed this would've been a BANGER season, sad that disney don't give a fuck

It’s not that they didn’t give a f*** it’s that the show wasn’t an immediate success compared to other show that Disney and made. By the time Disney realized the decision to cancel/ end early was already in the work. A lot of people think that decisions can be taken back with the wave of a finger or word but contracts need to be signed people need to get paid and a budget needs to be set. Shows that the initial approval shows get makes an impact and if that means people having to watch episodes once or twice for ratings purpose then do it. It was a show that started very slow and took its time to get where it got. The show is amazing overall but the pace during the beginning could have been better. There were still some unanswered questions about the villains until season 3 and nobody should have had to wait that long to get an origin story for a villain.
Full season or not, these episodes have been great and I’m sure Episode 3 will be brilliant.

Willow finally breaking down and facing all the terrible things that have happened to her is definitely a highlight of the show for me. Hunter supporting her was so sweet.

"Animation is for kids" Tell that to the villain who's literally a decomposing corpse with his flesh visibly melting off his bones.
People who have that type of mindset really annoy me because animation isn’t just for kids but for all ages
and killed his brother with a knife and slaughter hundreds of mystical animals to drink their sols. 😨😨😨.

The bloody dagger hanging over Caleb's ghost like Macbeth is honestly such a great moment, and I’m shocked it wasn’t included in this compilation.
Nothing like seeing a character's loved ones getting turned into mindless toys, possibly seeing zombified corpses, seeing characters panicking for real, and watching the main characters submit to their trauma....

These kids need the same therapist as Steven Universe-
At least none of them will turn into a monster like Steven a lot of the characters been on edge or nearly breaking down in this episode Luz blames herself for everything that happened Hunter misses Flapjack and his on edge about Belos Willow tried to act like she fine since everyone else not but as we saw that didn’t work out so good plus the collector is a Complicated being someone who takes fun too far and hates feeling betrayed and since he a child can be Tricked easy I did wonder why he didn’t know that was Belos but he is a child I liked Luz palisman and that it could shapeshift into anything it wanted
Thank god that in the Boiling Isles therapy is more normalized than in the real world

EVERYONE that has been in contact with the Boiling Isles needs therapy
I don't think The Owl House is terribly well written from a plot standpoint, but it is exceptionally good at humor and does really well with character moments. Everything on the small scale seems expertly done, they just can't seem to wrap their head around the big picture.
I feel sorry for everyone/people in ToH and 2 scene that made me sad were 1 when willow said she misses her dad's and 2 when hunter heard a noise and tryed to hold his staff/palismine aka Flapjack but flapjack is dead it's so sadd

even Belos and the Collector are traumatised
Belos caused his own trauma, which makes him deserve all the pain he has. Collector, meanwhile, doesn't want to follow the path of the others of his kind but was probably forced to at one point before he was manipulated by Belos, and also still feels the loneliness of a child that was betrayed by who he thought was a friend, so he doesn't deserve his trauma
If I had a nickel where a secret all powerful being was the VILLIAN all along in a kids show I would have 3 nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened three times

I love the part where Belos says "Oh yes. I think you'll be quite useful." Odalia has been reduced to such a pathetic state that she's ready and willing to make a deal with the giant mostrosity speaking in the voice of the emperor who lied to her and tried to have her killed.
And then he's not even talking to her.

@@bengilhooly3616 Eda in Eda's Requiem when she and Raine were attempting to stop Belos with her affected magic. I mean, technically Raine also tried to commit suicide but it was more so Eda since she was upset about King leaving and still wanted to go through with it even after Raine learned about Luz and King. It's not outright said, but it's heavily implied that that was Eda trying to commit suicide

Lowkey For the Future was the weakest but it still had great moments regardless. What puts this ep below the rest is the red little twerp who I will not name.
