@@PubbyTheArtist ah, unfortunately I use ToonSquid which is an iPad exclusive program :((
I really suggest any artist get an iPad if they can afford it. It’s quickly becoming industry standard. The learning curve isn’t too bad either. A screen tablet can run you about the same price or even more than an iPad. And I got mine (plus a screen protector, case and Apple Pencil) for around $700. There are also off brand Apple pencils for cheap (like 15-16$ cheap) that basically do the same thing. I just splurged because I have scholarship money, haha.
Plus it saves you money in the long run tbh, programs like Procreate and ToonSquid are on par with what Clip Studio and Adobe programs can do, and they’re only a one time purchase (and costs less than eating out to lunch for me) compared to the latter’s subscription prices.
I have a laptop too and I use Krita on it. I suggest learning how to tween using something like CapCut if you’re on a laptop. Or figure out how to pirate adobe softwares, they’re honestly the best. I go to art school and they give me adobe programs for free (so life hack go to art school I guess /j.)
Forgive me for yapping but I have a lot of thoughts haha.
