the first 2 people to ride in the cable cars at Fort Regent was my father (Terrance Longsden) and my grandfather (Edward Townend). the cable cars was tested by loading them with bags of cement and sand, so after sending them all up, they jumped in the last car to the top. this was when they was working for Regals Construction back in the 70's.
