The girl on the right with the short brown hair sings the melody the whole time. I'm in the middle (the blonde), singing the low alto, and the girl on the far left is singing the top harmony. We keep on our parts the whole time--no trading or anything. The beginning is two parts--the melody and top harmony. When it says "half alive", we switch to three parts. There are points where I jump to melody, but I'm mostly the low part trying to find those harmonies lol Thank you for the compliments :)

The clarity of diction, the blending of your voices and those chords - this is such a beautiful version. You have the skill to interpret the lyrics and still deliver an emotional punch - wow. Yet you have the humility to state in a previous response "room for improvement" - you just don't get what a truly great performance this was. I do hope you continue singing together and uploading.

Is the girl in the front singing straight melody the whole time or do the parts trade at the beginning? Are there three parts right at the beginning or is the alto and melody the same for a bit? Thank you SO much for clearing up the beginning. I have two daughters who sing and they are doing this arrangement for choir tryouts with their friend. If it turns out well we'll send you a video!
