Since I started making these videos in 2017, I have been lucky enough to receive the support of some manufacturers with materials to use in my videos. Since May 2018, Chestnut Products have provided me with stains, an iridescent paints sample set, lacquers and waxes. I'd like to thank them for their kind and generous support. Martin Saban-Smith has provided me with a sample set of Intrinisic Colours.
All other products and tools, unless where indicated, have been bought from suppliers at retail prices. Products mentioned in my videos are for information purposes so that viewers know what I have used.

nice job thank you very well done
Cheers, Wayne - delighted you like it!
Another nice video Stewart.
When I make apples, I like to drill a small hole in the base and glue in a clove. It finished the look of the apple and also makes it smell nice.
Cheers,
Ben
Cheers, Ben! thanks for the clove tip, too!
Cracking video. Really great!
Thanks, Lewis - this was fun to do. Cheers!

I enjoyed this video very much Stewart . I love these sort of little projects ,and that little apple inside the lid is a nice touch.
A little beauty of a box .... superb job !
Cheers, Bram
Thanks, Bram! Glad you appreciate the apple in the apple. It was fun to do. Cheers!
Nice work...
Thanks - glad you like it!
Sweet! Nice to see you do things other than tour specialty colored platters from time to time
Thanks, Allyn....trying to widen my appeal! Cheers - glad you liked it.
great job Stewart, beautiful piece of timber. no colour needed
Cheers - it was lovely wood to work with. Cuts beautifully.
Stewart, what a nice project. The grain and joint couldn't have turned out better. Thanks.
Thank you, Joseph - it was fun to do. Glad you like it!
Your getting very good at boxes Stewart, making me wonder What's next!!!. Just happy to see your videos 😉👍👍
Thanks, Barry - glad you liked it!
Wonderful Apple box. But no colored Apple 🍎 👍🇺🇸
Cheers, Cortland...did you miss the mini-coloured apple under the lid??
Stewart Furini no loved it, I was just giving you a bad time. The Apple looked great without color.
I love it! I’m calling it a Macintosh apple since I live on Macintosh lake! And everyone has apple trees here! Bravo my friend 🙌🥂🥰
Cheers, Angie! It was fun to do. Glad you like it!
Looks like it was just picked off the tree awesome turn Stewart, ten thumbs up thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Gary!
Very nice I kept waiting for you to dye it red or green . But it does look really nice with no color . Cheers .
Thanks, Glen - didn't even think about colouring this one!
Looks good, Stewart. You're progressing in your quest to become a world class box turner (!).
Thanks, William! Glad you liked this one - much appreciated!
Lovely apple box & just the right shape. I love making boxes & just made my first two lidded box in red elm.
Thanks, Miss Tee - glad you liked this one....your two lidded one was great too!
@@stewartfurini thank you so much 😀
Stuart you are fast becoming the dude
Awesome - I'll take that accolade for sure! Cheers, Steven!
Great job Stewart I’ll have to come down and visit in the new year 👍🏻
Cheers, Dave! A visit would be great!
A dash of red would look good 😊
Do you know, I never even considered colouring this...must have had an off day!
Thanks for the hot tip. I found Les thorne’s video online and ordered it.
Cheers, Steven - glad you got one....Les appears to be out of stock now!
That's a sweet little box, the inner apple (Is that metaphysical?) is just right. Also, it looks like an apple. I don't know why, but the apple shape always eludes me. I seem to end up with oranges. So good job on that, as well. Oh, and I really like the stem.
Thanks, Bill. I was pleased with the shape in the end. Glad you like the thick stem as well. Cheers!
Core mate, what no colour? Did you not know apples were at least green with lots of red, brown and even yellow tones. Sorry, no blue though.
Really nice Apple Box, who needs colour when you have a nice piece of wood like that. I concur about your comments about Les Thorn having done his one day course in June thanks to being a member of the AWGB.
Cheers
Roger
Thanks, Roger - can you believe I never considered putting colour on this one?? Les's course, if it was the one with Nick Agar too, was great! Got to love the AWGB!!
I do hope that is a Golden Delicious and not a Granny Smiths!
Lovely job once again Stewart.
Cheers, Pete - it can be whatever apple you want!
Cool🤗
Thank you!
Ayup Stewart, Another brilliant video. I really like the Tip about turning a hole through the Jam Chuck... Because my Chuck has been Jammed big time in the past.
Your Apple looks really good and wouldn't look out of place hanging on a Christmas Tree with a present in it for a loved one. I'm going to give it a go when I get some nice figured wood. LOL what's wrong with a DOUBLE THUMBS UP? 👍😁👍 LOL
Cheers, Andrew - nice idea for hanging it on the tree with a gift in. I'm not sure a double thumbs is as objectionable as double denim, but it's close!
@@stewartfurini 😲😲😁😁😁😂 LOL, brilliant reply lol. 'Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year' to you and your family
@@PENFOLD1962 And to you and yours, Andrew!
A shame about the split, but a very lovely little box with a twist.
Cheers! I'll get round to filling the splits in a day or two once it's stabilised indoors. Glad you like it!
How’s about them apples 🍎😄 nice
Cheers, Andy!
Ok where's the colour? Love the rose-hip on the underside of the lid, keep up the good work.
Haha...I know, not much colour on this one.....trying to broaden my appeal!
Hi ho Stewart, I used to live in Germany, the direct translation of Drexler is .........Turner..... so at least you now know your t-shirt isn't a picture of someone stabbing R2D2 in the head?
@@WoodMonk3y Good to know! Cheers, Jonathan!!
DVDs are out of stock...sad.
Bum! Sorry about that, Mark. I hope Les can restock soon!
Hi Mark - it looks like Les has them back in stock on his website!!
