Well done for finding the fault and repairing it! Plus it will be appreciated by other people seeing a video to help them. A word of advice regarding operating your oven, that may mean the selector doesn't prematurely fail again. When using the oven, if you are going to make a selection, do not have the thermostat temperature set on at all, the same applies if you are going to change the function whilst the thermostat is set to a temperature. This is because whilst the thermostat is set to a temperature, electricity is flowing through the selector, that will then control the given components of the oven for your desired setting. If you change the selector with the thermostat set to a temperature, you may cause electricity to arch, especially where the selector controls elements for the oven and/or grill. The arching will eat away at the contacts of the selector and eventually it won't be able to function. Hope my advice helps you and other people out 🙂
@@coasttocoastcaravanning6138 My pleasure and no worries about the late response An air fryer is an excellent addition to a kitchen and is very versatile, plus can save money due to it being able to heat up substantially quicker and maintain a higher temperature with less energy requirements Take care during these very changeable times and take special care with storm Isha affecting the UK
Great stuff, i have the same oven. When i turn the left knob the fan comes on but not the lights and don't heat up. Is this the same as yours? Just trying to figure out if it's the button like yours or the heating elements, both my elements aren't heating up which lead me to your video. Thanks 👍
We had the part off ebay but it wasn't expensive so worth a chance. Take photos of the wiring though so you can put it back together 😊 hope this helps 👍
