I have a Neff oven that does not heat up. I opened the top cover and the back cover. The whole thing was packed full of the Kaiser's finest electronics (microcontrollers, solenoids, eproms and cpus!). The cooling motor continously running (it might be the protection shown in your video). The elements when I push the relay manually and turn the oven on heat nicely but not the grill although it measures good. This oven is a pain in the neck. It is a Neff mega 1580.
Fantastic video. Followed the instructions and located the burnt out fan element on my oven. New part, replaced going perfectly. Probably save over $300 in serviceman costs. My oven is an Australian made Westinghouse (by Electrolux), different but as you say essentially the same, very easy to follow and adapt. Thank you.

i ordered some thermostat for my oven because it wasn't reading the temperature right and when i changed the thermostat now the oven doesnt turn on at all :( the top grill does but the main oven doesn't :( but i changed the thermostat on both. any ideas? :(
Just wondering if you can point me I the right direction please I have a lamona oven And it's working fine but when I turn the thermostat off The power indicator light is staying on .. but the light is faint Is this some thing to worries about .
Hello! I have a BEKO FSM62530DXMS gaz cooker, the electrical problem in short I think... the fan turns on by itself. without using the gaz coocker. I take it out of the socket and, if I plug it in again, the electricity in the house goes out!! what to be??
Thanks for video, before taking my oven thermostat out to check is there away to check before taking out, reason is when I used to turn on my oven a red light used to come on and then go off when oven reached temperature, but now it dont come on at all so would that suggest the thermostat is broken? Thanks Matt
My oven knocks out all the power in my house at the point the cooling fan is supposed to come on. I've been quoted £60 call out fee and told its probably the element shorting as it heats up. The replacement for that I've been told is about £30. I'm not convinced its the element. I had thought it was the fan (broken or stuck with grease as its not been used for years), but this video makes me think it could be the protection thermostat.
Great videos - my Bosch built in oven stopped auto stop/start, I wrongly assumed it was the selector switch, I changed the selector switch using your tutorial, however the fault was still there! I think after watching some of your other tutorials it maybe the clock, could you advise?

A very well made and helpful video - many thanks. 2 observations, it's worth wearing work gloves when dismantling the oven, or any similar machine, as the case panels can be very sharp indeed. Secondly, there may be more than one fault, which can confuse the un-systematic repairer.
Thanks for this. Have just bought a new "hob" selector switcb - but notice that the "spindle" is stiff - ie, will not rotate at all. Is this normal - ie does it have to be "unlocked/loosened" somewhere - or could it be faulty? (Not sure I have confidence in supplier as ordered genuine "Indesit" part, but the delivery note does not mention "Indesit" - but Beko, belling, flavel, jmv, leisure, new world -- but it could of course be a universal part - but now the question over the spindle as well) !!
Hi thanks for the video...i have checked all the parts u have said n it works according only part is i do not have continuity at the fan but when i on the timer the fan kicks in....also the top n bottom oven elements works. But the grill trips the hse...but wen i test for cont n short to earth there is no problems there is continuity n no short to earth....could it be the selector switch? But there is No Burt marks or scorching on the pins...am i missing something?

can you show how to connect 3 phase 440 volts rotary switch to low, medium, and high position electrical burner , using three electrical elements[ three elements 3 starting and 3 end terminal of elements] THANKS REPLY
Hi. We bought a condo with a Frigidaire Gallery Series Wall Oven; Model CGEB30S8CB1. Unfortunately, when on BAKE, the main element will only heat to 285 F (max.), and takes about an hour to reach that. However, if we select CONV.BAKE, the fan runs, but the element dosen't heat at all. Oddly, the BROILER element heats up fine. Anyone with any ideas as to what might be behind this strange behavior? Thank you. Ken - Calgary, Canada
hi i have a creda hotpoint cooker they element went in bottom oven so we bought a new one and fitted it .the oven is now working but its not getting as hot as it ust to be any idea pls
Each terminal is connected to a set of points there needs to be perfect continuity. electricity must be able to track between one terminal and another terminal you will normally see burning on the contact if it is not in good condition I'm glad I could help you please remember to subscribe to the channel as that's what keeps us going and able to make these videos for you
Thanks for your videos mate, its well explained and easy to understand
I was able to fix my oven with your guidance. Many thanks.

Good guide. Had problem with oven fan. It shown continuity, but had a difference of 5.1 ohms compared to the other fan motor
