Lolz. Been thinking this since the new season started. Im pretty sure the staff work hard, they just need to work.. smarter, iguess? And be firmer with decisions. Last seasons staff needed to be on their feet at all times because they had joonyoung and taehyun who figure things out pretty quickly. The staff now have to realize they have people who are just as quick witted and prepare for these situations. I'm starting to warm up on the new cast, and seeing potential for the show. The staff just need to take control more 👍
The staff are actually in full control! Even after Dindin broke the lock, the cast didn't dare to open the door because they were waiting for instructions. In fact, the cast only opened the door after the PD told them to. So in truth, the production team purposely let them open the door and do "nothing" after as a twist to make viewers curious. (Also, we don't know if it was really "nothing", or if there were actually instructions that they edited out.) I thought it was pretty clever and refreshing.
I also watch njttw and this thing happen all the time not only an episode but a whole season. You see the shock of the pd and staff, the panic because they already planned everything. At first I have doubts on this season with the new casts but I gave it a try and as the weeks by I became more fond of them. Especially dindin and his antics.

My point here is dindin tried his best to unlock the door which he did an amazing job doing it. You can see the others are happy with that too because they celebrated what dindin just did.

Agree. I didnt really like dindin at first, but I think it was because he was just trying extra hard to make the show entertaining. He's still not my favorite but I see he's getting more natural now. But you still see how much he wants the show to succeed. I realize korean variety shows really put more responsibility on their cast compared to western shows, but not to this extent, i hope. Hopefully the cast learns their lesson from this.
Yeah especially since they already knew 2 of the numbers. Figuring out the remaining 3 through trial and error would've been easy and the logical thing to do when time is not an issue - because there are limited combinations left at that point

Just a thought tho... Why not switch the member's profession? Like make Ravi and Dindin act and cry on tv. Junghoon and Seonho sing a full song with MV, Seyoon and Jongmin rap and dance. 😁😁😁 Make them try something they are not used to.

Even the episode being destroyed by dindin..but he's doing it without a purpose so we all cannot really blame him..plus the cast members get a chance to spend their own time together..relieve themselves and resting..i mean things turn out to be another good session for them..
its really not dindin fault tho that he managed to guess and open the lock cos i were him i wld have kept trying too and its not like there was a rule that prohibits them for trying..they really underestimated him haha but now they know next time if ever they have sth similar maybe they might add some mini games/physical activity for them to pass before they can try the lock e.g one game pass one try etc
they should have proceeded with the plan that they have(seriously, it's a waste)... then the punishment for them opening the door will be no sleep....that would be more fun...
I love this season's casts they are great but still we need someone loud like kang hodong or someone always laughing like cha tae hyun to make the show more lively hehehheheehee
Dindin knows that they need to solve games for them to get the pw, he should have known better, but he still went ahead and opened it, he just wanted to be the hero for the team not thinking of the consequences of his actions. The staff ofcourse having faith that the cast will follow instructions didn’t think that someone from the team will just do whatever they wanted. ofcourse this is only my opinion. I am not fighting anyone here. The only thing I’m amazed at is how the pd and the team adopt so fast on these unfortunate events.
At first 10 episodes yeah I also find them boring as I was a huge fan of s3 (not only members but staff and the pd-too) but I gave them a chance , cuz we all know they are being pressured and now eventually I find them funny cuz I began accepting their individuality.. 😍
