The Pak Puma in War Thunder is an older Event Vehicle that used to cost just $20! However, as time has gone on this vehicle has amassed a price tag over over $1500 on the Gaijin Marketplace!
The question is: Is the Sd.Kfz.234/4 worth the price now? Well, no. But it is pretty fun to play, that's for sure!!!

The really annoying about this thing is that every time I’ve got one on my team they die immediately but when there on the enemy team there the next coming of Christ

another thing odd, phly, and bo time gaming always forget is arty, smoke, and scouting. But he's just a bro playing a game he loves.
The scouting one always surprises me because you can literally track people's movements instead of guessing which road they're taking to flank you, and you vastly increase your chances of a friendly saving you if they actually know there's a tank there. (And half the players never even look at the minimap, it's either on their screen or invisible.)

I got Pakwagen for free in the IS-7 suffer event. Back then is was cheap so i claimed it, if i knew it would sell for 1500GC one day i would probably keep the coupon. But it is still super op and super fun to play, literally cant be balanced.
I comepletely forgot to claim it, same with the su57 or whatever the one before last was. Im also someone who doesnt use them, i save them to sell at a later date, lol gutted
@@universate5332 i only claim them when i know they will be fun/useful, otherwise i just sell them for something better, but the tax on marketplace is insane - not cool gaijin
wouldnt have really made a difference if you ask me. Noone's gonna really buy it, and even if someone did, you wouldnt have been able to turn it into real money.
Would much rather have the vehicle sitting in my lineup rather than have it sit on a coupon!

@@zeflammenwerfer1772 the people who created the skins in the boxes get a small share everytime it is sold. They accumulate a shitton of gaijin coin amd its mostly them who pay these prices. Or when Event vehicles come out early and the first few examples are super expensive. The skinners buy them because for them, they are essentially free

event vehicles dont come back no matter how much time passes
and coupon vehicles are not sold in sales since they are marketplace vehicles (with the exception of the T-26E, that vehicle is sold both in market and sales)

Hey Odd love regular video uploads picking up again! Would love to see you play the french Char 25t before it goes up in BR. its an absolute monster now that its has its american APHE. Basically a T26E1 gun but with a 6.7 second reload on a light tank, and seeing how you tend to do extremely well with mobile APHE slingers i think you'd absolutely demolish with this one.
I'm surprised you didn't get CASed. Every time I see one of these pop up in the kill feed I make it my mission to hunt it down in a plane.

Hey odd, could you do the kv1b next or the me 262 a2-a? These are by far the most fun vehicles in the game

I don't notice much difference playing this thing at 4.3 to 4.0.Perfectly capable at 4.3 and in fact I more often play it at 4.3 because I prefer that lineup. Usually I hate it when my favourite tanks get moved up but in this instance I'm not worried about it.
Considering the T55E1 was at 4.7, the Pak Puma needed to be moved up. There's really no excuse the Pak Puma was so much lower than the T55E1 when it was introduced into the game. The Pak Puma is better objectively than the T55E1, it should have been higher in BR from the start yet the T55E1 was dropped into the game at 4.7 or 5.0 while the Pak Puma was 3.3 or 3.0. I don't remember the exact BR's but I have them close and know the disparity was absurd considering the blatantly better vehicle was significantly, not just a little bit, lower in BR.
I just checked the price at 1700 central USA and it was going for $1700... crazy.... Thank ya Odd... got your decal in game now it's cool and thanks again...

hey Odd! aabout the PC building thing you mentioned. i have a couple of friends in the UK, Brothers in fact, that build quality PC's as they are what i only can describe as MASTERS of tech and know EXACTLY what kinds of tech goes with anything else, building a PC that is in perfect Harmony with every part inside it. i'll ask them to give you a hollar, and maybe see if they can throw you a 50% off too, as i helped them out in the past with some legal issues because of a customer who tried to scam them, and almost did too!
hopefully they have some time as well, as they have been insanely busy of late because of Black Friday and it being so near christmas and all.

It's just rolling the dice which vehicles explode in value on the marketplace. There weren't a lot of Ki-94's so they ended up at a high price too despite not being extremely special or anything like that
Im so happy i got this tank when it was like 80 bucks. This is my event grinder, since they moved it up to work with events, so good.

How the heck did he see that tank hiding behind the ridgeline at 14:25??? Gotta say also that I couldn't even see a lot of the tanks that he scouted in the first game until after he did. Seriously, his WT skills (and most probably his gaming rig) is stratospheric compared to mine!!! On a side note I really appreciate these uploads, wholesome fun that I really enjoy watching.

i have researched most of the US Tech tree (6.7) except everything in the left hand side, that includes the M24 and Walker Bulldog
Once I bounced a 85mm shell from a t-34 in a puma. That same day I went to my local administration and bought a lotery ticket
just read the title virtual, and reminding me of when I first started war thunder. It was automatically set to vr only, but it was the most fun ive had, minus the bugs for vr.

the funny thing is that the marder III H preforms similarly just of course without the puma speed. its still one of the best td's in the game(the marder III H)

How do you make these shots?!?!? If my shell touches any part of a tank's tracks, it disappears into oblivion! God forbid it touches the thin armor covering the tracks on top, apparently that thin part that extends out from the hull equals 1000mm of protection sometimes! Not to mention that T-34's breach in the intro, your shell went straight through it and detonated in the turret, whereas if I hit any T-34's breach through the front of the turret like that, it just turns the breach orange and disappears.

P.s. I doubt your mic issue is hardware.. it's probably software, Win10 probably forced an update and broke something. If it's an USB latency/USB issue just try different ports or get a dedicated PCie card for it and turn off power saving. No point in throwing out a top of the line rig over a damn mic issue lol.

If you are having trouble with third person aiming, it can often be a lot easier to score hits if you change to cockpit view and use the gun sight.
even though that this thing is ridiculously strong its also very easily countered by a lot of things.
i got that thing and a lot f other rare vehicles like the 10.5 tiger2, Coelian, Panther2, Maus, Sturmvogel and so on. so i guess my account is worth a lot of money
the inflation on the market for event veichles i always find so hilarious. and the fact people are apparently buying them at this price.

i dont played the event back then, where to busy with work, but it was worth it to get it for 20$, i do not really care that the tank is now at the price of some midrange Gaming PC, its overall a really decent vehicle.
i feel like sometimes pak 40 got shadow nerfed, moreso than comparable guns. if i had to guess, the minimum fuse distance is a bit higher than it says it is.
If you are relying on the fuse you need HEAT. HE is a waste of time with HEAT available.
About the PC thing:
I dont know any companies, afterall im from Germany.
However i think in the long run u might want to build one urself as it makes it possible to troubleshoot potential issues. I know it takes time and if u have the money it might be easier to just pay someone to do it. I myself just had some issues with PC companies and the help they provide. If u are interested in building a PC urself i am sure there are many members of ur community (myself included) that would be happy to help!

I never knew you could just buy these from the marketplace instead of just the tech tree.
I got it in 2018 for 7GJN actually. My most played vehicle. They raised it to 4.3 which is ok and perfectly balanced IMO.
Now they want to move it to 4.7 which will be the ONLY german vehicle at 4.7 and since germany lacks 5.0 vehicles as well, Pakpuma is now officially 5.3 and I hate Gaijin so much for this change. After the Ho229 was nerfed to the ground, they will now destroy the only remaining vehicle I have fun in WT. And no, I am not uptiering 4.3 german tanks to 4.7, because it will be a constant 5.7 uptier.
Fun Fact: The Hs129 Duck is nicknamed "Fliegender Büchsenöffner" (flying Can-opener) in German

What convergence do you use on your aircraft?
I only have this as I originally ground it out. If someone did pay 1500 gaijin coin I think they should get a free straight jacket chucked in.

Hey Odd, what do you think about a decal pack for console players? Say your decal, plus 3 to 7 days premium time and maybe 10,000 SL for about $10 to $15 USD? The prices are a bit high but I don’t see Sony or Gaijin (especially Gaijin) going for less than that. Plus I don’t want you or any other Content Creator getting screwed over.
