Controversial Rochelle Goyle “Fang Vote” Monster High Collector Doll Unboxing and Review!

- This doll was the product of a fang club member vote on Mattel Creations in 2022. She was up for preorder April 2023, and then she was released January 2024. So she has been anticipated for a long time. She has inspired a lot of controversy based on her original design and then changes made along the way, however slight. So this is my review, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I think she is lovely. I like the long hair also. Her whole color scheme is beautiful. The shelf with your special Monster High dolls is nice. I like that the special ones are separated out from the others. She is my second favorite the first being Draculaura which I think is one of the most amazing dolls to come out in 2023. All in all a really great addition to your collection. Take care.
Yes, definitely second best to Draculaura! It’s interesting though, because my husband really likes her. I think she caught his eye even more than Draculaura. He doesn’t always notice my new dolls, but he noticed her. And he mentioned her again recently. These G1 Collector dolls are so much fun! I am glad Monster High has done such a wide array of products!
Hi! I have a question. On the back of the box we see Rochelle in her dress with pink stripes, right? They are shiny and seem to be printed evenly. But when you've showed a close up of her outfit, especially the skirt, glitter stripes were patchy like just coming off the fabric??
You're right. I think it's very faint and subtle on my doll. The stripes are even, but there are little areas in the middle of the stripes that are given a worn appearance, like a little of the turquoise color underneath is showing through. For me, it's so subtle that it doesn't bother me. But I guess, they are trying to give her a worn gargoyle look. There were definitely changes between the promo pictures and final look...

@@annasemina6700 Aw, thanks! Yeah, it looks very intentional. But just unexpected upon purchase... As you said, she's still a very beautiful doll, just a bit of a wild card/ surprise 😂
