I began watching Wode Maya during his first videos in China. I used to watch Afr0-Centric uploaders schooling and living outside of the US. I Thought, what's this strange short African doing? Why is he, in American lingo, song-and-dancing for these Chinese? I'm so glad that he followed his calling. So inspired that he persevered. God needed him to develope there in China first in order to shape the depths of his resilience to the world's discomforts pressed upon everyone around the world who even in part shares the same genetic history. He thought his work was to focus on only Africa but the Afro-Centric communities around the world needs to hear the soul-lifting chuckles of Wode Maya. God said do not grow weary but rest and meditate. I wish I was able to meet you in America. It's such a big country with so many spaces of different ways of life yet so similar just like Africa in a sense. The debts of Foundational Afro-Centric Americsn culture liking us back to our ancestry, inventions, and amazing developments is viciously being erased in the US but you can still find wonderful preservations of it by those who are fighting for us to not be cast to the wind.

THANK YOU MAYA!! Thank you for all the work you've done and are doing to build bridges between Africa and the Diaspora countries, especially in the Caribbean. I hope you'll be able to influence African & Caribbean countries to do away from their Visas between the continents. The airlines and tourism depts to create travel pkgs to make travel easier and more affordable. I pray that Africans in the continents will learn from your videos to create entrepreneural opportunities for businesses (eg. manufacturing Chocolate or Ackee to sell across Africa, Chocolate, opening Caribbean restaurants, etc.) before the Chinese or Europeans steal the ideas and control the market.
It would be nice to have Caribbean restaurants open and food products sold across Africa and vice versa in the Caribbean.
