  • Aputure released the MC Pro Bubble Diffuser.. it's not a huge expensive thing coming in at $29, but it makes an already extremely useful tool even more useful. If you own an MC pro, you should also get yourself the bubble diffuser. geni.us/bubblediffuser

If you want to learn about using the MC Pro as a CRMX-receiver for your 3rd party lights, go watch gaffer and gear's video about them where he covers that part in depth: ruclips.net/video/bc0ChgrXJHI/видео.html

Found these thin and round metal sheets used to cover light sockets (I think) at Home Depot. You would be surprised how often we use em to light scenes on set. You can basically tape them anywhere and they will hold 4 foot tubes no problem with a magnet attachment. My tape budget has increased considerably (lmao) but it's absolutely a life saver when you can't have a stand in the shot

Gerald Undone would be so disappointed that you just assumed that the diffuser being 4X the size means the light emitted would be exactly 4X as soft 😅

Thanks haha, as a side, I really appreciate Gerald’s level of analysis on things like that. He’s a real boss at that stuff
