There were a lot of big hits here in America by these guys. Try "Let's Groove", "Fantasy", "After The Love Is Gone", "Reasons", "That's The Way Of The World", and of course, their giant "September".
EWF has so many hits...from Ballads like Love's Holiday and Reasons, to uptempo ones like September and Fantasy. Go down the EWF rabbit hole, your ears will thank you.
@@mysticakhenaton1701 Thanks for your observation, but I believe when it came out, it was classified as disco, as a lot of genres became identified after they were around! Also, R&B is completely different to what it was originally, so things change, but I'm sticking with the original category! thanks!
Every time I watch that video makes me think they where trying to hard in their outfits that they come off as being Egyptian dimi god mixed with Greek dimi gods with a little hint of American super heors and some how that's the look they came up with.
Summer 79 they absolutely ruled the world all over the planet as they knew that the R&B disco was going to be demolished by some jealous guys pretending that their music was artistically irrelevant

Earth Wind and Fire music is really good during the 80th. Every party and disco play their song.
I remember when this song came out...I was The Jam!!
You've got to check out "Serpentine Fire" a low key banger that'll keep your toes tapping!
that is a song that was played at many parties because that's what it did , it made you want to boogie - those were the days.
One if the ultimate dance songs "back in the day", You *had to get up and dance whenever it played.
I saw them live in 2002(ish) and they put on an amazing show. There were three acts: EW&F, Huey Lewis, and Chicago.
I saw them with Chicago a few times, what a great show.
The best month of my life included seeing Earth Wind and Fire and Pink Floyd 3 weeks apart. Best two concerts I ever saw.
The music of thar Era is so good. What a positive vibe
How can you NOT know this song!!!!
Great song! I love Earth Wind & Fire!!

They were recently honored at the Kennedy Center Honors out of New York. Gotta check that out! This song along with September!!
Back when you still needed to change into "street clothes" after the show 🙂
One of my favorite groups from back in the day....this was one of their last hits I think.
There was noone, and never will be, anyone like them 💜🔥💃👍
It was the last summer of the '70s, and Disco, New Wave, and Outlaw Country were all fighting for dominance.
I loved this song we use to dance to it while roller skating. Was the number one song at the rink. 🛼
September and Let's Groove
My favourite disco song ever! Love it. Great reaction thanks mate! x
Disco??? what has been called disco, was nothing more than R&B, Pop, DANCE music.

The girls were a group called Emotion.
