ED YOUR THE BEST!!!!!!! Your knowledge of all things ponds, ecosystems especially fresh water is just mind blowing!!! Thanks for all the great videos and the free education you have shared with all of us!! I have built 3 ponds myself to my husbands chagrin!! lol!! They all leak and are just a fun side hobby but my DREAM is to have YOU come to our hobby farm and build a huge rec pond/duck pond. I know thats a tall order!! lol. Anyways I just wanted to thank you and applaud your work!! Many thanks and hopefully one day if your ever on the east coast you can come play with all our mini animals here in Mystic CT. Again Thanks. Mateo

Upflow filtration was pioneered by the New England Aquarium back in the 1960's. They took water from Boston Harbour (then the most polluted water in the world) and cleaned it by forcing it through a 5 foot deep 500 square foot bin pushing the water up through the sand and allowing beneficial bacteria time to break down the pollutants. I know this because I was a volunteer guide there back in the 19070's-80's.

absolutely beautiful projects, well done sir! Amazing filtration engineering and knowledge of nutrients. Im literally about to start your nitrogen cycle course. I have 10+ years in saltwater coral reef tanks and love low maintenance, Excited to trade in my Ag construction business and apply all my knowledge from those into being a CAC :)
