My feedback for you: If you think about going with infographics and visuals, stick with it throughout the whole video and even add graphics and bullet points when you're talking about one hero. Makes the information easier to digest and remember!
totally fair im def still tryna find the best way to make these kind of vids where its easy to digest, interesting and doenst take 90 years to make, i apreciate teh feedback
@@FredTheFinch I definitely agree, I think just having a little picture of the current hero you're talking about would have been a nice touch. Little things like that I think go a long way. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you make me want to be a better yamato.
@@FredTheFinchone thing I would have liked for this video was like just a simple picture of the character in the corner of the screen while you are talking about it. Easy to skip around and find the matchup you are looking for
I'm also a Yamato main and i feel like it might be playstyle depended cus Abrams ,wraith, and kelvin to me are pretty easy to deal with but on the other hand pocket, lady Geist and , McGinnis are tuff. Besides that i agree with everything else
@@justskill8328 there’s definitely some differences between play styles and just general strengths in each player as well as between ranks and stuff like that
The parry after getting hooked by b-bop is diamond tip. Using this in game today later. Also against vindicta and grey i grapple up to them and 1 them if they are 50% or lower and then try to get directly underneath them and shoot to pressure them / get the kill
You mention being able to see abilities in hand with geist. I generally play instant cast so things go as soon as button pressed. Do you have a way to interact against that or do not enough people play that way to have thought about it?
@@waldezurbe she takes a while to pick up for sure and it feels like you’re working harder for every kill than every other character but by god does it feel good
@@JustShurii that’s why you don’t bring attention to it, just say “will anyone lane swap?” Or ask someone specific don’t tell them what you’re playing against a lot of times they’ll agree without looking LMAO
You're the most aggressive parry user I've ever seen, I'm learning a lot from your clips
Fantastic guide! I don’t even play Yamato but tons of this advice is just good general tips for laning against each hero which I sorely needed.

solo laning against mirage is cancer for any character 😭
W guide thank you for the Yamato tips, keep them up!
My Yamato idol 💯
very good guide bro !
Great video on 2x speed, thanks for the matchup thoughts!
You’re the goat 💪
WOWWW WHAT A GOOOD GUIDE THANK YOU V MUCH FOR THIS ONE GOAT
I watch your Yamato gameplay and think “this character looks fun”, then proceed to do no damage and die constantly when I try to play her lol
this is what I needed thanks!

forgot to mention for infernus that his afterburn makes u deal less spirit dmg
I had actually come to the same conclusion on many of the match ups and tips. Still learneya couple good points though

i mean i dont really have any trouble dodging the bombs regardless theyre pretty slow and take a while to explode just an extra tip
Once they add more of a draft/lane choosing do you think yamato is gonna be better as a solo laner or duo lane
solo laner
i really respect yamato players. i tried her and, as a mcg main, it went horribly. i'll keep trying but by god!

ronbald
any more tips when laning against pocket? played against him today and it felt like I could never pressure because he got suitcase 1st ability.
let you slash go early to still get some dmg or just do it off cd, i believe the slash cd is lower than the case
@@FredTheFinch Yeah it's 17s at base and ~12s after lvl 1.
No one is going to want to swap into a mirage or greytalon lane
