I feel like the twin guardians are still worth split pushing simply because it makes that lane’s transit line so much faster, equating to a significantly easier time keeping map presence and being able to get the urn or whatever a lot easier
@@7tales311 you also get a huge boost from the movement shrine that you heavy punch. When you combine the two with the zipline boost its insane, look to test it out in future games.
thought about bringing this up but I still don't think twin guardians are worth splitting for, if you're strong enough to push to break them you're probably strong enough to push for something more valuable instead. Also the zipline speedboosts are good for pressure but bad for the fact that they cause waves to stack up towards the enemy more, your candletroopers will kill enemy candletroopers faster, and enemies can collect large waves close to their base fairly safely
You forgot to mention you can secure unsecured souls. For example if you have 500 unsecured souls, you can buy a 500 item to clear it. But, what if you have 1000 unsecured souls? You dont want to buy any 500 items since you're saving up for a 1250 item. BUT, you can actually buy 2 500 items and then instantly sell them. If you didnt leave the shop, youll get a 100% refund and now all your souls are secured.
Twin guardians do have a really good reason to be pushed, which is that they significantly increase the speed of the lane’s zipline. This can be high value because it gives your team more map control and allows your team to more swiftly push enemy base in case opportunity arises.
Can’t believe you’re this small of a creator, I really like the production and flow of your content. Also love that you’re trying to contribute to promoting deadlock. Great stuff, keep it up!
I remember one match where I had the most souls collected even tho I only farmed like 2 medium jungles. I just always happened to run into some random enemy with like 1k-2k of unsecured souls in the middle of nowhere or some guy would just join the team fight too late because they were farming
THE URN is a very situational objective, without a proper coordination even if you win the urn if you lose the team fight you will have= no soul lead+ they will take a few objectives*some of your camps near the objectives, which gives you only a few troops worth 400-500 souls each respectively(if your teammates are not soaking all lanes after respawn)
when I say get urn "whenever you can" in the video, I definitely mean whenever your team has a reasonable advantage that makes an urn delivery likely (numbers advantage, waves pushed, etc). Losing a teamfight is always going to be bad, this is part of the reason I advocate to do everything you can to help an urn deliverer. I think too many people see someone running urn, don't see any enemies on the map around it and decide that the delivery will be fine, only to lose urn and a few team members
if you're up souls and need the slot, its worth split pushing the shrines if you're confident you can take them out. that slot can be the difference between winning and losing a teamfight.
My 6 man team of friends plays 4 solo lanes and one jungler and on soul runner. The soul runner afks until 10 minutes to make sure he has his priorities straight. We prioritize the walker last because you cannot dedicate a player to only this objective. You should try our strategy. We have a 26% win rate.
i kinda wish the twin base guardians were a different building. it feels really lazy to just copy and paste the outer guardians to the base. but its an early alpha game so who knows, they might change their mind last second and make them look unique.
Saw a suggestion on the reddit to change the lanes so they converge into two entrances at the base instead of four then change the base guardians out for something beefier. Sounded kinda sick
Twin guardians do make the line much faster, not just for playeds but also troopers ALSO, opens up the opportunity to sneak in damage for the shrine AND frustrate the enemies
When u kill someone he can’t farm the troopers neither farm the neutral. You also get closer to your objectives as your troopers start to damage the enemy guardian and you can help them. For theses reasons you get more souls by killing enemies. All about balance and priorities
Kills are definitely good for this reason, just definitely not worth prioritizing too early before they gain more soul value and death timers get longer. I definitely need to look into a more concrete time where they're good to focus on tho 👍
Thanks for making this video. I like to think of jg camps as ways to fill in for an item (I have 5500, let me do some camps so Im off map to get my spike) This way you are securing the souls immediately
Urn should definitely not be run whenever possible. In a lot of situations you're just delivering THEM the urn souls (in addition to free kills). Also super easy for enemies to notice you're running it and backdoor somewhere else
I understand what you mean, but by whenever possible I mean whenever you're team has enough of an advantage that you're likely to get it delivered (up a teammate, lanes are pushed up, etc). With the backdooring it definitely depends on wave states, and if you do lose something sometimes the urn can be worth more depending on which urn it is
Probably the most useful points video I've seen, this helped me a lot, thank you! Also, any chance you could do a generic video on how to win from mid game. I seem to always do well and come out with a good lead in lane and the beginning of mid but after 20mins I drop off hard and start to get punished by the enemy for my lead.
One thing here I still dont quite understand is soul splitting. Trying to farm waves in mid to late game can be hard when you can't get a lane to yourself... making jungle even more enticing.
As shiv i farm players that were farming, as haze i farm camps with rolicochet, as warden i farm objectives. It's also very important that u know what character u are playing gents
I was interested, then I realizeed you play Mirage, so I have to disregard it because I hate that guy. But then I saw you playing The Lash, so I'll keep this video in mind
Here’s an interesting question: Is it better to deny souls off an enemy killing your minion 2:21 , or is it better to try and meat shield your minions until they die to other minions and prevent last hits so they don’t get even half those souls?
numbers-wise if you can stop your opponent from last-hitting candletroopers it's better than denying the souls, as long as you're not sacrificing too much health/losing troopers yourself to do it
I feel the pain if any of you have DCd just know you should delete the game while your at it and don't have the balls to play this game because people come here to have fun not lose because someone is angry from a skill issue
Huge props for making this much needed advice though it's a hard thing to grasp. If you have 2 people afking in the jungle and you're defending alone or doing the proper actions you can easily end up behind and have less impact in a game too. I hate to say it but depending on who you are playing, if the team plays selfish it's better to BE selfish and make them respond to walkers or at least lose faster. You really do not want to leave the game's agency in the hand of one guy who contributes nothing and is 10k ahead of the team because he was in the jungle all game. Another thing I often think about is... split pushing, split pushing is RARELY done right and I so usually don't see anyone do it correct. If you split push an objective like a side walker that's fine and good BUT if it means your team is losing team fights over and over being a person down, that results in you losing usually TWICE the objectives and often mid. Split pushing can be the biggest throw in the game even more than afk jungling if you never show up to fights. The team can make do without you sometimes or sometimes you just can't get there in time so you find value elsewhere but if you are consistently missing, it's arguably worse than having a disconnect because you're just a worthless team member taking up resources and farm forcing terrible trades 2:1 against your favour.
Your opinion on the twin guardians is just competely misinformed by not talking about how destroying them gives you a free Zipiline Boost on that lane (very important for midboss contests) and in the outer lanes how it enables you to keep splitting for a shrine as well
I've considered the zipline speed boost, but I don't think it makes them worth specifically splitting for over other objectives. Typically if you'd be strong enough to split push far enough to break them you'd have more of an impact elsewhere on the map. Also the zipline speedboost can be a double-edged sword as it boosts candletroopers to the lane faster as well, making waves stack up toward the enemy (good for pressure but will mean you get less candletroopers to farm and the enemy will have more)
Please valve make it so that it's super easy to tell if the urn will go to a close drop off, neutral drop off or far drop off. I don't want to have to do maths. Also I'm pretty sure that the drop off is set at the point the urn spawns so if you didn't notice it and then check a 30seconds later and the soul gap changed you can be super confused when you pick it up and it is a neutral drop off when you were expecting a close drop off....
@FairwellNoob good to know that it's on pick up. But I would still very much like it to be more clear. Like urn appear red on mini map if its a far urn. Blue if its neutral and green if it's close.
I feel like the twin guardians are still worth split pushing simply because it makes that lane’s transit line so much faster, equating to a significantly easier time keeping map presence and being able to get the urn or whatever a lot easier
WAIT IS THAT WHY SOME TRANSIT LINES ARE FASTER??!?!??!?!?!?!?
@ they also get faster over how many objectives are globally destroyed, though the lane with the guardian twins down are noticeably faster
@@7tales311 you also get a huge boost from the movement shrine that you heavy punch. When you combine the two with the zipline boost its insane, look to test it out in future games.

yooo I actually didn't know that tech that's big
Wait that's insane. Situational, since the game will spend your secured souls first, but still
HOLY AHIT THATS AWESOME!!!

this video was nuts… giving me hope for amazing future deadlock content ….
Underrated, funny af, and reliable, subbed
Good video. Straight information, good quality.
Great video dude! I enjoyed this and learned a bit! Thanks 👍
this helped so much, I feel much better at the game just knowing this
I’m a big believer in the urn! Not because of the souls, but because it forces really fun team fights!
Great video, man. I had a vague sense my prioritization might have been off but this makes it clear.
Best way is to watch POVs of best players, how they play. Although on lower ranks, it's good to just farm on your own.
very high quality. Good stuff man. Excited for more

Incredibly made video man absolutely stellar visuals and educational content
not even a minute in and this vid is already worth a sub, great job!
How could I not subscribe to a handsome guy like this

Thank you for putting the effort into this! The numbers really help 😂 great value for time with this vid

1:19 This is so true. I've gone 0/4 in lane and had a soul lead on my opponent when lane was over
This is unbelievably underrated content!
really great video. Lowkey thought this was a big channel. Learned much

@@LogicDefender2 That clears things up more :) agreed. Doesn't necessarily mean sprint to the soul urn every 5 min
Thanks! Also taking camps is boring so yay!
Good music and editing! 🙂

true, definitely should've brought up that if allies have every lane covered that's the best time to look for stuff like jungle
i feel like this is why shiv is so fun to play. Get your rage up and you can clear tier 2s camps in seconds during laning or early mid.

I play mostly viscous and lash, but the occasional mirage game is fun too
great video man! keep it up. :D
great video, whats the song playing at 9:03? i cant remember where its from but it struck my memory
The amount of times I saw Bridge Buffs not being taken in this video hurt my soul. Prioritize those above all else.
Oh yeah bridge buffs are great. The clips you're talking about are probably from bot games I use just for footage lol

Hey maybe the twin guardians are still worth splitting because of the speed boost?
Its a moba...its sadly going to get toxic because "those" kinds of people never go away.
But thankfully thats what the report system is for.

Can some1 send an invite? I would like to try this out but there is no way to sigm up as a tester amywhere.
Yup. What's ur steem user name?
@ vombastic , thanks mate.
Should have also gone into how at 8 minutes the lane phase is over and over how soul splitting functions^^
Useful stuff
Love this video so funny XD
10:35 The sigma edit. Put some sigma music over too, elevates it by 100.
how do u only have 300 subs. i thought you had like thousands while i was watching ur video
Best tip : DO NOT TRY TO FIGHT WHEN YOU HAVE 1K INSECURE SOULS!!!
i haven't watched the vid yet but why are deadlock players all so hot
keep it up!
Playing haze should be locked behind this video
