MATSUMOTO, Japan, August 27, 2015 - Reigning world champions the United States proved to be too strong for Algeria as they eased to a 3-0 (25-7, 25-2, 25-5) victory over the African runners-up here Thursday afternoon.
The American women finished their first round play with a 4-1 win-loss record, suffering their only defeat 3-2 against Serbia. Tetori Dixon led the United States with 16 points and Easy Megan added 12.
The world champions outblocked Algeria 17-0 and outserved them 8-0 with the Most Impressive Player award going to Kelsey Robinson, who had six kills, three blocks and ace.
Nadira Ait Oumghar had three points to lead the scoring of the Algerian women while they have yet to win a single set in five matches.

Watched a high school game. The girl served 25 in a row to start the game. Game point they lost, then the other team served into the net and they won 25-1. I would say that was the fastest set ever. 👍🏼

Japan won a set against Afganistán 25-0 recently, and a 25-2 set win also.
I have the official fastest set. I was watching an 8th grade game and this team started off receiving but scored the point. After that this one girl server the other 24 points. They won 25-0.

r u kidding me 😭😭 they obviously arent beginners just more inexperienced and strength lacking. it seems like they dont know how to play only because their opponent is usa (which has a much better coach along with better life conditions) and that their team is stronger.
