Price range & options? I think I saw an AC unit does it work off a generator or only plug in electric? Ease of getting in and out of it? Quality of ventilation? Additional insurance requirements & cost? Sound proofing comparison to a tent? Porta potty ??? Love the idea and commitment to prioritize being outdoors for your child’s exposure to nature. ❤😊
pulled pop up camper for 15+ years all over the US. Two things you need to know. Changing tires! Jack needs to be able to fit under camper under a flat tire. Check your tires PSI every trip! Those tires run on high PSI. If run low you will get a blowout. I had 3 blowouts so it will happen so make sure you have a plan! Good Luck
We love our Bushwhacker. Our number one add on has been an Outland fire bowl with a 15’ quick connect hose. No smoke to get in your baby’s eye and you can still have a fire during fire bans. Enjoy the new adventures you’ll have as a family
Love Acadia! First time to visit was this summer and by far one of our favorite places! Cool history, trails, downtown and hidden gems within/outside the park
Oh yes please do a review(s) on your teardrop! Is there enough room to move around & sleep? Where do you keep clothes and daily essentials? What do you find lacking with the kitchen? Pros & Cons with your specific camper Pros & Cons with a teardrop
Nice camper. A shakedown was a great idea. I recommend that you have a 16' x 20' tarp, 8 stakes, 8 ropes, and 4 poles for covering it if you get caught in bad weather. Use a heavy duty tarp that is dark on one side and silver on the other. If you set up in a hot sunny place, having the silver side up will keep you cooler. Two points for Chet on the good chocking job. I am concerned that it could tip backwards when you are in it. If there is a chance, I would mount a screw jack(like on the trailer tongue) to the center of the back and run it down when the trailer is parked. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
Your reason for getting a teardrop is the same reason I went with an Intech Pursue squaredrop. Pulling into a site at sunset and not finishing setting up camp until well after dark, pulling in during rain or other bad weather, and with me at 65 yrs old, it just made more sense. Enjoy your new adventures, stay safe and God bless.
Nice - and to give your daughter such an initiation will, in all likelihood, imprint good memories and a love of things natural and outdoorsy. Best to all three of you in your travels and the journey - savor these moments - they will be in the rear view mirror sooner than you think. Be well, stay safe. 🥾
We stayed at Lamoine State Park in 2008! Loved that park outside Acadia. A guy would go around in a golf cart at campground and you could buy a fresh caught lobster right off the park!
Great to see you all today out on an adventure. Thanks for sharing the great outdoors in New Hampshire past and present. Ramdino and you got me trying out some new LMNT. ✌️♥️💪🇺🇸
Congratulations on the camper. Campton is a nice campground, small and usually quiet. Waterville Valley was also the mountain I skied the most. Have fun!
Taylor I am so happy for you three! You guys are going to have tons of fun in your new Bushwacker! So many memories to be made!!! Looking forward to future content....🥰👍👏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My wife and I are planing to hit Acadia before the end of summer to ride the carriage trails and do a little hiking, maybe we’ll see you and your family up there.
Moving off the ground to camp with a little one makes such a big difference on being able to make a trip happen and be comfortable. My 2 kids are grown and in college but we started out with a popup when my oldest was 3. Lots of great memories with them camping and they say the same. We have moved through a couple of new to us travel trailers since the popup but now have a nice one we bought last year. I love to camp in a camper but also love to backpack. Nice to have options. Have either your family or Chet's family had a camper before? There is a little bit of a learning curve with some of the systems especially if you ever move to a larger one with a bathroom. Worth it though.
Do you plan on getting a pop up canopy? I currently use one with my Coachman Clipper. It provides additional outdoor space protected from the elements especially with sides attached.
Great video Taylor. Congratulations on your teardrop! We went from tent camping to popups to trailers and a class B. Now many many years later we are going to a teardrop. Interested to see yours. I saw some bad reviews on the Bushwacker. Did you look at aTab? Cant wait for your full tour.
Your Bushwhacker is nice. I have a little teardrop too. Mine's the Little Guy Five Wide. It's about 10 ft long too. You'll like it. Fits in just about anywhere and so easy to haul.
I’m headed to Acadia (first time in Maine) in early October! Hope y’all film some content so I can watch before my trip (I’m also headed to Baxter State Park for 4 days before Acadia)!
Acadia! If I can just be quick the biggest highlight of Acadia is all the civilian conservation corps work, in my opinion. There's plenty there, but i would suggest something on the east face of Dorr mountain, like the Emery or Schiff(sp?) paths that have many many beautiful staircases..( I also recommend A Walk in the Park by Tom St Germain. I have an older version, not sure how revised it's been lately, but I loved this guide book).-*also the island explorer is a great thing to look into, not sure about with a baby, but these free buses have multiple lines, most busy spots will see a bus every 15 minutes to half hour, and these are great for opening up one way hike options.
You can do a lot with the Bushwacker HD 10 trailer, I own one and mine is heavily modified, don’t ever count on any help from Braxton Creek the manufacture of bushwhacker they are a joke, and the company that just purchased them is no help either, but there’s a lot you can do to that little camper, I take mine deep in the back country on very rough off-road terrain, I installed a lift kit for it put bigger tires on it and added double size tongue box, exterior shower and racks to carry some extra fuel, just check your end play on the bearings and keep the bearings greased I recommend checking all the seals and sealing up the front where it curves underneath they have basically plastic wrapping that’s not strong & should get sealed, it’s a great start and you can do a lot with it.
It's a Taylah the Nahamsha Trailah! 😂 This rig is beautiful! It's nice to sleep in something solid that's ready as soon as you drop it. No more wet tent tear downs. I thought there was gonna be another club soda incident. 😂 Congratulations you 3! ✌️
@@tomdoe1234 Yeah that one is spelled Arcadia, the national Park is Acadia, which is actually, I found out way back researching, where the word Cajun comes from. Acadian.
Oh Taylor, now you have a taste of luxury I can see you finding excuses not to rough it in a tent. Just blame it on the baby if anybody says you are getting "soft", lol. Lovely trip, glad it went so well for you all.
FYI, locals pronounce it “triple-EYE’ road not trip-o-lee. They used that road to excavate tripilite or triploidite from areas around East Pond and Little East Pond.
We recently (July) went to Acadia and stayed at Lamoine State Park. I would suggest checking out the Schoodic Peninsula and the western part of Mt desert Island Its not nearly as crowded as the more popular east side.
I've honestly thought that a teardrop would be a good, not-too-pricey " base camp " for hiking trips! They have several amenities that you can't put in a pack, yet, because of their size, you can get them just about anywhere in nature. You can easily do thru hikes while another person drives ahead with it to rendezvous at a predetermined campsite . Hope you have a lot of fun with it!
The undisclosed amount I sent to Chet to shake up your club soda was the best money I've ever spent since we got to hear Taylor's laugh of surprise once again!😉
Leave any questions about the new camper here! I'll answer them in the next video 👇

Taylor we would love to see grandma with the baby. Your mother has been such a fun part of your videos. She must be super excited.

I chose the Pursue as well. It has been a lot of fun for me and my pup.
Mt Blue State park in Weld is great in case it's on the way to Acadia for you!
You will love it. We had for many years a NuCamp T@G teardrop which is the same set up you have.
Great seeing y'all have fun family time. Chet, when do you get a speaking part? Bushwhacker beats car camping👍👍👍
Looks like an amazing time!!!
Congrats - and welcome to the small camper world!

Oh my this makes great sense. I get it completely.
The Beachcomber in Wellfleet. Great place.
Great to see you out, great to see the modified version of the life adventure. ❤
So happy for you all. Great camper!
I had one of those Bushwackers! Great little camper, so easy to set up and tow around, and with the baby, it's super convenient 👌 ❤
No way!! We got a NuCamp TAG when I got off the AT! We love teardrop camping! Have fun!!
Great idea for introducing your little girl to camping. Can't wait to hear her say, Mama this thing is too heavy to backpack with. Can I get a tent?😊
Beachcomber! Les go
You guys are going to make some great family memories in that trailer. Congratulations!
Wishing you many fun camping experiences! I look forward to the camper tour!
So happy to see the three of you enjoying the outdoors! Can’t wait to see you all this winter at Loon!!
Great choice. Welcome to the Bushwacker family

Was in Acadia Nat'l Park last month ...... fun hiking & bike riding. Stayed in Bar Harbor (kind of crowded). Enjoy !
Can't wait to see more adventures in it!
So happy for you guys!
Looks good , hope you three have awesome adventures with it👍👍👍

We are interested in the bushwhacker teardrop, any idea how much a used in good condition one might cost?
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Bring your bushwhacker down to Texas next year in March for our annual Bushwhacker Rally
where can I find more info on this rally?

Shoot left Waterville 2 weeks ago. If I ran into you I would have freaked.

Congratulations and great idea for simplifying family camping. It’s not a bushwacker, it’s a cribwacker!
You need to "Taylor" the camper with Nahamsha Gifts logo and image!😁
Compared to sleeping on the ground in an ultralight backpacking tent, that thing is like the Ritz!
Russell is awesome!
There is an Arcadia management area (that's what they call a state park) in RI but guessing that's probably not the one :)

What car are you using to pull your Bushwacker?
How’s the sleeping in your Bushwacker?
But wait, you forgot the dog😂
Looks like an upgrade from the Tiger wall. 😅
What's the baby's name ?
Where is the spare tire ?
👍
You'll quickly get a larger RV.
Your daughters DNA says get me outside mom and dad.
Hello beautiful taylor
Look how much hair that baby has
I want to see the baby.
Is there anyone LMNT will NOT sponsor? Enough already.
How are you mad about people getting paid to create the content you are watching? Get away from a screen and go touch some grass
God bless you and your Husband and daughter ! Thank you for giving us information and such joy !
