I'm a democrat and I completely disagree with this theory that we should not have counted on the laws to protect us from a criminal. That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Evoted hymn out of office in 2020 during a global pandemic what month should the people have to do. January 6 happened on national live television. What he did months before it and he did that day is clear and obvious. Yes it's true we should beat them at the polls. But our laws should be able to protect the body public from a politician that's an actual criminal and a trader to our country. And the only reason we cant is because of the republican party.

Trump has not been CRIMINALLY convicted. Civil court cases do not find guilty or not guilty. The outcome of civil cases is either "find for the plaintiff" or "find for the defendant" like in E. Jean Carroll case. Her case was "find for the plaintiff" (Carroll) and judge assessed $83.3 million in damages against Trump (defendant). So no, he has not (yet) been convicted of a crime.
