Agreed - these guys seem to be able to bring the players' genuine selves out in their interviews, not just the PR responses. Shbman Gill's interview was similar as well, came across as a genuine and funny guy.
"They're nervous, we're CALM!!" That is singularly one of the greatest interviews I've ever seen with an elite sports man or woman. Hilarious, because Stoin, but actually surprisingly deep in parts too. What a top fella.
Came here to say this, how refreshing is it to see a man give non scripted genuine answers. Particularly enjoyable after the robotic Smithy interview (not that I blame Smithy for being careful haha)
Just to put a story out there, There i was sitting at my club cricket bar here in South Africa (grade cricket for you Aussies) watching our 1sts play out of the corner of my eye but mostly fixed on the Aussie vs SA game. Aussies needing 35 off 24 and the hulk comes out and wins the Aussies the game, the whole bar just got up and left and at that point i just thought there is no ways i like this chap. Watching this video is absolutely fantastic , Stoin you are a legend bud , got the best humor , and awesome to get this content so thanks to TGC you guys bring a lot of entertainment to us. PS our firsts absolutely hammered the opposition.
@@bitoffbalance4021 probs not much tbh. Depends how central we talking. The problem is gonna be finding someone willing to sell you a small plot of land.
What a great guy. Stoinis demonstrates the power of honesty as the greatest tonic for mental wellbeing - something many men struggle with at times. Thank You #TGC for bringing this to us.
Stoinis came across as a great bloke to have around -- he did not hide anything. As a MSD fan I could never imagine he was so deep I just thought was a natural. Great interview one of your best bois 👍
exactly what i felt today! i have forgotten what cricket feels without politics n drama. i realised this when i was watching AUSvsBAN match today (somethng i wouldnt normally watch), it was so calm n refreshing to watch a game just as it is, n not a political battle. politics ruins anything it touches!
@@air9music exactly. they just have to politicize everythng! while they get money for it, d spirit of a game is lost. Ok, this was seriously one of the most funniest episodes ever! And this, gentlemen, is your secret sauce, the humanity, irreverence behind the "famous" celebrity players!
Sam and Pez and the entire TGC, massive massive respect for these guys. We need this kind of candid and genuine cricket off the field content. Also, Marcus.... Such a warm hearted guy. Wish you the best in life mate.
Stoinis we DC fans absolutely love your presence on the pitch. Be it your first game against punjab where you single handedly tied a lost match with the ball as well as bat or be it you making us reach our first ever final with your fearless opening knock and magical powerplay spell with the ball against hyderabad. I'm pretty sure we would've won the trophy this year if you didn't get injured. Wish to see you at DC for next season and beyond 🌟
What a likeable bloke Marcus is! Comes across as genuine, caring, nonchalant and thoughtful. Would love to have a cuppa with him someday. Also, credit to the bois at TGC for the questions, for making the cricketers feel comfortable and letting their guards down a bit. Keep up the good work lads 🍻
great stuff boys!!! loved the honesty from the big rig! thank you are getting this out from him... wade is a bloody warrior!!! this is the stuff we want to know about sportsmen and women ... how genuine they are...i'm here after the victory over the black caps! makes it all that much more special!
Great stuff, boiiis - between you guys and TFW's chats with Stoin, how can anyone not like the guy? Fond memories of being at Trent Bridge for Aus v Bangladesh at CWC19 as a neutral (England fan); Stoin was fielding out at deep square when some Aus lads next to us demanded that he 'show us yer socks!'. Suffice to say, after much coquettish teasing, he did. True rooster. (NB: Currently watching SL v Aus and all I can think of is the Wade impressions - 'THEY'RE NERVOUS, WE'RE CAAAAALM!')
One of the most funniest interviews I have watched in recent times. Laughed so hard after so long 😊. What an incredible interview boys!!👏👌. Keep doing such amazing work ❤️. Lots of love #TGC
We actually prefer Aussie interviews over Indian interviews. The Indians are too stiff coz they only use English for formal media, and let loose and joke in Hindi
Such an interesting insight. That makes heaps of sense even in some of my Indian work mates - whenever they joke with eachother they flip to Hindi even though they'd otherwise speak English to eachother. So interesting.
Most Indian's are first-generation English speakers.. there is a massive difference between Indian's whose families spoke English in the pre-90s generation and the more recently Urban-educated Indians. The only drawback is that the former aren't quite aware of how stilted their English is, so they don't quite read international banter and can get offended.
Wish you'd asked him more about the bit about Dhoni working on controlling his breating and heartbeat. How does he do it? When did he figure it out? What does it do for him? Breathing seems to show up everywhere with elite athletes. Even the BJJ Goat Rickson Gracie had said that controlling his breathing was massive.
Stoinis is the best all-rounder in the game !! Looks like very nice and jolly guy and most importantly - highly competitive..wish him the best coming years
So after Maxi, Stoinis will be the reason I will support Australia , like after India is out of the tournament , of course. Great video guys, thanks a lot of doing this.

As a kiwi, this is a very conflicting episode. We innately hate Aussie cricket, but how awesome is Stoinis?! What a hilarious dude :)
are you a fruit or the bird?
Good luck for final with aussies.
Why you hate Aussies ? I mean I really wanna know. Is it because of the sledging or the reason is any other issues.

It does not get toxic on the field, or even with the spectators at the ground.
To people far away, it does matter which way the game swings.
