Wife and I have noticed the All Might theme being similar to the John William's theme for Superman, and we like to think its an homage to those characters...all the music in this show are amazing!
Deku when he asked his mom can i be a hero after being told he has no quirk he wanted his mom to say that he could be a hero but instead she said im sorry wich is fair dont give your child false hope but thats the reason why he broke down crying cuz theres finally somebody who belives he can achiveve his dream
Currently there is no really bad season, the fifth and most recent season was the most criticized but not for the story but for having very little action at the beginning of the season, this happened because the animation changed the order of the arcs to keep the most impactful arcs together and prepare for the sixth and seventh seasons which are the best of the series so far (in the manga).
@@user-binzero it was jarring to go from one of the best villains in chisaki to a fucking youtuber villain, it was filler. I did mostly enjoyed it anyways though, the villain wasn't compelling but the school event thing was wholesome.
@@Animedad Hope you enjoy this anime! I think everyone already mentioned this but the creator of this show is a huge fan of western media! Were is starwars reference and lots of superhero references too. Allmight himself, as you said in the video, is a reference for superman. Finally hope you don’t get any spoiler in the comments. I will try to comment as spoiler free as possible!
Well to start off, people telling you what to like and hate about a show you barely started watching can sometimes ruin your enjoyment and perception of it. I hope you come up with your own genuine opinion on it, good OR bad. Secondly, I hope you take all the negative comments you read with a grain of salt. It's a genuinely good show, far from perfect, but just good. Also, I actually enjoy the school stuff. Especially when you realize how important it is for certain character arcs (no spoilers). I also highly recommend reading the manga for this series. Looking forward to more reactions, take care!
I just found this reaction, and I have to say I really appreciate your commentary and all the thoughts you add, but it gets a bit frustrating when you don't pause the show for that because you keep missing vital moments or information that would help your understanding even better. Deku did more than just confuse the slime villain, thanks to him throwing his backpack, the villain recoiled enough that Bakugou, who was suffocating at that time, was finally able to take a breath of air. Deku helped more than some think. If he didn't do that, bakugou mught have suffocated before anyone could even try to save him. I figure maybe you caught that during editing, but I wouldn't know 😅 I hope you start pausing the show a bit more for the rest, or at least look at the screen while talking. I'll be watching the rest anyway, but still, it would be nice.
I think dub is better for commentating because while you are talking you can still hear what is going on while if you look at the camera to explain something on sub you may miss some parts of the episode.
Mha is amazing. I don't care what haters think. I am a big dbz/ naruto/ jojo/bleach/one piece/ and gundam series fan and I underestimated mha but decided to take a chance and watch it. I loved it very much because it speaks out to me. I enjoyed all 5 seasons so far. Haters can suck it. All Might has been feeling down for a while until he was rekindled by Deku's bravery again. More will be revealed about all might in the rest of the seasons.
Hah. Have you been surprised by the firefighter superhero? You should watch the anime Fire force. The whole theme is that the greatest threat to humanity is fire. And firefighters are superheroes.
@@Animedad Deku threw his backpack, and his books flew out. One of his books hit the villain in the eye. After that brilliant move then, he was like what the heck do I do now XD We love a brilliant, resourceful hero; since he was a hero at the start of the show to me
In my opinion, each season gets better and better. I'd say that the "negative sentiment' around this show is just missed potential tbh. The creator likened his inspirations to one piece, which has insane character depth, vs in mha where a lot of characters will sadly not be explored (with the manga in it's final stages). I dont think this makes characters unwatchable or bad, but it sucks to see. People also think at a certain point (myself included) the pacing of the story ramps and abandons some of that built up it has throughout the majority of the story. This being said, still one of my favorite properties, love the heart of the show and it def reached me to be a better person out of two episodes alone.
I do wanna point out, when deku thought back to his notebook about "restraining the enmy or making them flinch", he thrrew his pack at the eye of the sludge villain. That's what he did more than anything, bought time
Dub please! Keep going with the dub and I'll subscribe and watch every epsiode :D I don't have anything against the sub, but if I'm gonna be watching hours of your reaction I don't wanna spend all that time reading and not being able focus on your reaction or visual niceness of this show. Just my 2c E: he's doing the dub yay!
I enjoy both Sub and Dub for different reasons; I enjoy sub because I'm trying to learn Japanese, XD But I enjoy dub when I want to put on a reaction and be able to work at the same time. I also enjoy dub when I want to just watch it as I fall asleep because I'm too tired to read. Both are great for different reasons. I tend to put on dub more, though, because I'm always working and rarely have time to sit and watch shows/ movies/ and reactions much otherwise. That's what trying to start a business while doing several freelance ventures on the side to fund it does to you XD
it's unfortunate to see you go to the sub for this episode imo the dub is better in general, but for this episode especially some of the stronger lines get weaker in this sub-- particularly 15:25 when midoriya says why he jumped in, in the dub he says 'i couldnt just stand there and watch you die' which imo is a much stronger line than the 'you looked like you were asking for help' we're given in the sub also one of the lines at the end in the dub becomes 'guess i should get back to giving up on my dreams', which is just the best line reading ive ever seen lmfao in the sub, instead it's 'now i can think of a realistic future', which is an okay line it's just boring
Commentary is good when you're sharing your thoughts, but I feel like you want to talk more than watch, you talked through most of the episide and missed so much that this is frustrating to watch.
This is one where I recommend dubs over subs. It's better, especially the female characters. Most of the subs/dubs debate is just snobbishness by hardcore anime fans, sort of like wine snobs. But a lot of Japanese subtitles are awkward and sort of unnatural sounding-- almost overwritten. When they dub it, they have to actually interpret it to make it make sense. I only go with subs when the dubs are notoriously bad.
why are you talking so much ? i think it isn't a reaction anymore, i think it has become a commentary instead i do NOT like commentary but thanks anyway
Go back to the dub man idk why people be trying to read that tiny subs on RUclips I’m not saying your not getting Japanese watchers but ima assume you probably aren’t
Sub is better bro, you get the authentic japanese seiyuu performance that sounds natural, it doesn't sound weird, and the disparity of lip movement and speech is a bit distracting isnt there. If reading subs is not a bother then sub is a more preferable option over dub
@@charlesisbell6561 All of this is personal preference anyway so it doesn't really matter. But for the aforementioned reasons, sub is better for me and for a lot of people. Dub is not always superior because some dubs just sound cringe and unnatural. Japan has a dedicated infrastructure for voice acting specifically for anime. As I said, it is more preferable.
There's nothing that warrants a negative sentiment towards this show. Is it the most deep and complex story? No. Is it still awesome? Yes.
Today we're introducing the greatest hero of them all.
Meth Might!! lol

Season 4 also had a massive criticism because of school antics. Some people just don’t enjoy school events in this anime.
