There is a store here called Safeway, it’s an Albertsons company. The past month I have gotten ribeye and T-bone steaks for $5.67/lb. advertised as bone in and had less than a quarter pound of bone out of 4 pounds. It’s a savings within the Safeway app. Grass fed or not, I couldn’t turn down that price!
I have both a Sam’s Club and Costco membership. I do not purchase processed food, only whole food. I shop the Clean 15 & dirty dozen organic Sam’s Club twice a month, and Costco picks up items every other month.
My costco had 100% grass-fed wagyu beef frozen beef patties 15 pack at 22$ I got 4 of them happy I did!! they haven't had any 100% grass beef patties in the last month or so... good thing I'm stocked up
Yes, the rotisserie chicken is not as good as Costco's. I wish I could buy all organic, grass fed meats , but I can't even afford it, so I end up buying only what is cheapest.

Its a hit or miss at Sam's club finding organic turkey and chicken. They do carry it because I have bought it there before, but they must not carry it consistently or enough of it. It's always a bummer, so I always have to go to Costco for most of my poultry. But I do love getting the grass fed ground beef and their wild caught frozen salmon is the best price I have found anywhere.

Sam's is sometimes a bit more reasonable for meats BUT Costco is definitely better quality especially on higher end cuts. Costco meats and seafood is higher quality overall. I didn't renew Sam's membership since Costco usually has better products and quality besides they pay and treat their employees better as well.
Okay I'm beginning to get the idea of what to eat but I need portions size. I was raised poor, so to us there was never portion control. you take what you want but eat what you take. Portion control was not a thing my parents understood. And I do think it'll be key to my weight loss. So if anyone can point me to a relatively inexpensive book, a website that has that information I would greatly appreciate. it would make shopping a whole lot easier for me and sticking to the diet for the rest of my days. The Sam’s rotisserie chicken in Puerto Rico is to die for! The Costco one is exactly like in the states (don’t love it-Even the breasts are too fatty). Sam’s seasons the chicken with more local flavors such as garlic and oregano. It can be a touch too salty sometimes, but gosh darn is it delicious!
I completely agree with you. The Costco chicken tastes bland to me. The Sams chicken is seasoned I believe with Lawry’s seasoning. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

If you ever have the opportunity to visit a LIDL (not Aldi) grocery store, I buy all my beef from them. They have 100% grass fed ground beef and sirloins and their regular prices are amazing, but often run even better sales. I’ve paid as little as $2.84 a pound for 100% grass fed organic ground beef and like $3.49 for 8 oz organic grass fed sirloins.
Sams Clubs do offer more grassfed and organic options. There just has to be an audience for it. Every location is different and sales determine heavily if a product will become part of a regular rotation in the club or not. For example, my local Sams carried whole organic chickens for about three months. Then suddenly stopped. When I asked about it, literally the sales weren't there to justify keeping it in stock. They sold maybe one or two a day. In my area there is no real push to buy your meats and seafood from a Sam's. The same goes for our Costco. I was floored at the amount of organic and grass fed in your videos because our nearby club doesn't carry most of it. I live in a medium sized city. All of our shopping options are kinda in one place. You have a Sams, Walmart, Costco, Trader Joes, Whole Foods and Kroger's all within about a five minute drive of each other. If people are shopping for clean meat, they're more likely to go to a Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. They're not gonna get it from a warehouse club. So there is no real reason's for these clubs to have to stock options no one will buy. It kinda hurts the wallet having to buy it elsewhere, but that's the sad reality. Also, Sams Clubs rotiserrie chickens have just as big a cult following as Costco's. My local club sells on average up to a hundred chickens an hour. We're the only club for miles and people travel far just for the chicken.

Thanks Bobby. I love your videos as to they save me time going from one place to another. Costo also carries the wild caught red argentinian shrimp in the frozen section for a bit cheaper than Sam's. Generally, I do my meat/ fish shopping at Costco because I'm sure to find organic or wild caught.
Can you do a video on healthy water alternatives from Sam’s? I’ve gotten off of sodas for the most part but, juices is another story! I try to get water & coconut water so far. Or if anyone in the comments has any ideas lmk. There are sooo many drinks with loads of salt or sugar

Just went shopping at my local Sam's club yesterday and they have next to nothing as far as healthy choices unfortunately for me the closest Costco store is about an hour away and if there's an accident on the main road could be like 2 hours for me to get there.
I think he didn’t realize that the salmon with blue label (at 3:24) was sashimi grade salmon. I was hoping he would mention anything about it but he did not.
