I love stuff like this that's basically unique to this format. Like, you couldn't make this work in commander, and it might be too slow for other formats like pioneer, but for this one little pocket of time, this is a thing you can be doing in standard.
@@zaterface in standard every deck that is not red aggro is running a bunch of creature removal, if you get paired with not red aggro they'll struggle to remove any of your combo pieces
my bet is on "Grixis Storm", much like how the UW Abuelo's Awakening deck gets called "4-Color Reanimator" despite only having a single BR card in it as a reanimation target
I really want the editor of the mtggoldfish videos to extend the "Saffron Olive" by a few milliseconds each upload to see when people will start noticing it.

The initial steps to get extra spells are a bit convoluted. After that, its actually pretty linear. Every beseech the mirror is just replacing itself on the stack at the cost of a stormsplitter token, and every reenact the crime can target another reenact the crime / beseech the mirror to replace itself, its just trying to cast a free card on the stack repeatedly. You could empty your whole deck of those cards and rack up more than 8 casts since you're getting back copies from the graveyard but stormsplitter deals geometric damage so just a few casts does it
This has the feeling of a Yugioh combo. Tutor stuff ad infinitum, abusing timing windows, OTK out of nowhere, weird recursion loops.... this feels like Yugioh in MtG.
So this is just like the Twinferno version from Bloomburrow standard that you did but better and more convoluted. This is not a criticism. I loved that deck, but it struggled to win after Duskmourn
I haven't seen a combo this convoluted since I invented my Slaughter Pact combo where I force my opponent to wrath the board with Slaughter Pacts in 2007. And yes, it did win a few games at FNM.

Im curious, if in the first match you have the combo and you aren't afraid of counters. Then why not keep the draw three cards spell/tutor just in case? What exactly would be a better draw? (Note, I am not saying you made the wrong decision. I'm just curious what made you decide that)
you could definitely transformational sideboard this deck. beseech, recording, stormsplitter, and reenact are only 13 cards, so you could just board out all 13 and board in a bunch of normal rakdos stuff.

I think Valgabroth Lair is better than the tapped cave. You can bargain it when you don't have the vault. Since this is more of a control deck, I think it should have some cards like Lilianas and duress/dreams of steel. Brotherhood's End is good maindeck. It's a boardwipe you can beseech. Edit Oh! I forgot! You can copy the Brotherhood's end to kill their six toughness creatures!
This was already solved in the last standard when the otter was released. There no need for Cursed Recording. You just need an initial artifact to bargain. It's a simpler loop that does the same thing but faster and better lol.
Full control is 100% absolute bait. It falls of randomally for unknown reasons. You need to ctrl+shift for HOLD full control. That one tends to persist no matter what (unless you accidently press the button).
You could technically play the 2 mana legendary mana rock (the irencrag) to kill on turn 4, not that that’s needed as that card has been mega bad every time I have played it and doesn’t enable reenact the crime
Why can't you just tutor the storm splitter and reenact the crime with the first beseech the mirrors? Why do you have to search for a cursed mirror and copy another beseech?
casting the spell you tutored for is part of resolving Beseech, so it won't be in the graveyard when Reenact the Crime resolves. you need to put one Beseech into your graveyard first, then Beseech/Recording again.
I've never really loved the opening catchphrase, but idk why he's changed it in the part wl the long "OOOOOlive". But w/e. I like you and your videos anyway dude. Just strange, no reason to change it. Wonder if someone said something about it and got in his head. 😏
The one that gets me is "I'll be back in a bit for the rap up" and then the rest of the video is still him talking. I'm guessing he does the intros, and outros in chronological order while editing, but there is no reason to say this after "lets jump into some games," feels weird because he didn't go anywhere between the intro and the rap up.
this deck isnt all that busted lol. it kills on turn 5 at the absolute fastest (slower than even half-decent aggro draws), can be beaten by artifact removal or counterspells in the main deck, and folds to combo hate or graveyard hate in the sideboard (Fish Beatdown plan excluded lol). its cool to have a combo deck that gets to play lots of removal, and that can beat creature removal if you're careful, but its far from unbeatable.

I actually never figured out how to manually full control. I hold ctrl down but full control goes away in a few seconds.

I didn't think of Beseech specifically, but it does seem tailor-made for Bargain.

Sunken Citadel makes two mana to activate land abilities.
