I’m currently tandem reading Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn! I think you’ll really love Queen of Shadows! It’s my fav so far. I agree, it was overwhelming / slow at the beginning of Heir of Fire. Queen of Shadows is more fast paced and opens a lot more doors!
I think you might struggle more with Tower of Dawn, because for me I’m having issues with the names 😣 they get wild in that book because it’s more middle east setting, and it’s hard to keep the characters apart.
I’m really excited for Kingdom of Ash, I heard that it is the best one!

Alsooo i totally agree about Heir of Fire the early witch chapters took so long to get through! And yes tandem read is so worth it, it feels like a cinematic universe when you’re following all the story lines ✨
I’m doing the tandem reading of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn and am really enjoying it. I definitely recommend tabbing your books so you don’t have to constantly keep checking the list, the books look crazy when you do it but it’s super helpful.

Empire of Storms was by far my favorite book in the series!! I’m not a fantasy gal at all either, but this series captivated meee! I do wish I knew that Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn could be read at the same time.. that would’ve saved me some boredom while reading Tower of Dawn lol

Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen books are great!!! I love their first two (The Wife Between Us and Anonymous Girl) better than You Are Not Alone, but it’s still a really good psych thriller. You’ll have to give us a book update and let us know what you thought! Love the book content!!

I never knew reading books could be come complicated !!? So you have to read b/w both those two huge books ; back & fourth every couple chapters or something ? Wow that really does blow my mind lol. I guess it’s been so long since I’ve read an entire book. That just sounds crazy to me 😭
Lol you don't have to. You can read one and then the other and it will still work fine.
I have tried to watch this video 3 or 4 times now and have yet to make it through without falling asleep 😂 which is usually good but I really want to see the rest of the books 😂😂😂

Assassins Blade is a quick read! I promise you 100000% should read it before Queen of Shadows. The rest of the books after this point reference events and people in the prequel in some pretty major plot points

I’m the worst at reading I have a 3 book series that I have had for like two yrs and have only read a couple chapters 😅 of first book the problem is I hsve to read over a bunch to soak up the info
You should totally read The Assassins Blade before you read Empire of Storms atleast bc a lot of connections get made there that will make no sense unless you read TAB

Throne of glass is my fav series on earth and SAMMM PLS read Assasins blade im begging you it’s so good and you won’t understand our main girl fully until you read it 🥹🥹
Ive only read the first two ACOTAR books by Sarah J Maas and I enjoyed them but I’m having a hard time getting through the third one due to the length and lore, but I’ve seen a lot of people saying this series is better though so I’m thinking after I finish this one I’ll take a break from Acotar to give Throne of Glass a try 🫣
