it's sad because rejection can sometimes cause someone to reject themselves in order to conform to those they want to be accepted by but the cycle leads to an inauthentic version of yourself that is eventually rejected as well. even sadder is when you reject everyone to re-accept yourself and find more happiness there then you've ever known up to that point. lots of collateral damage.

@@mirijam9459 i wish nothing less for you than genuine and authentic realationships with mutual and unconditional loyalty and love. balance is key. it gets harder to forge strong bonds as i get older, but i can assure you one thing, "no man is an island, this i know." i've never burnt any bridges, i just didn't invest enough time building them. balance.

I'm actually just a couple of years younger than him, and have been listening to them since their first album came out, so this hit me right in the feels. I guess we all tend to change, to grow, to mature, and become more confident and comfortable with who we are over time, but this made me feel nostalgic for those innocent, simple times. Great work, thanks for the upload! X

So I'm not a native speaker and volume was too low for me to understand a word he said, but the vibe was so calm, so nostalgic, so on point, that I got too comfortable to move and actually turn the volume up. Basically, you made a video so perfect, that I watched it without understanding a single thing and still enjoyed it very much.
I had a bit of a hard time as well, but eventually understood most of it after a few plays and decided to write it down for others who also couldnt understand. Just finished writing it and saw your comment, so here it is.
