      Keep in mind that as impressive as Leona was here, she still netted 2 losses in Friday & Saturday foursomes.

      I disagree. Hedwall came back from 3down with 6 to play and won her match 2up. She lost that match USA on way back home with Solheim Cup.

      @@mlitt11 No question Caroline Hedwall played outstanding in that comeback single's win. But it's a 3-day event, and no one outshined Carlota over the entirety, with Megan as an honorable mention!

    Our USA ladies made us very proud. What an exceptional group of young ladies that represented us. They have dawg in them and fought their asses off all week. No give up in these girls that’s for sure. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 So proud of them.

      This year the American girls behaved themselves......that's a reflection of Stacy Lewis. She mentioned in multiple interviews that she wanted good sportsmanship.....and it showed. 2 years ago, I was embarrassed as an American. It all comes from the Captain. (Idiotic dancing in a mocking way) We played better this year also as underdogs. Great job Europe! Mcguire and Cicanda were amazing.

    I thought that between Ally, Nelly, and Allisen coming down the stretch, at least one of them would've pulled off at least a tie. But give credit to Caroline Hedwall, Carlota Ciganda, and Maja Stark to go 3-0 in those clutch matches.
    Lexi sure did her part throughout, including the W in the finale.
    Bravo to both squads, quality play all around!

    Let’s not forget Europe were 4.0 down after the first session, and then proceeded to draw or win every remaining session to claw their way back, they deserved to retain the cup.

      Yip,back to even numbers for the girls Have to admit tho-great appetiser for the main event.
      That being said-I don't think I've ever seen the guys pepper the flag stick like the girls did this week.The iron play to the greens was fantastic-so mant shots drilled to 2 feet-with Ciganda being notable obviously.

      The 2023 Solheim result goes in the books as a 14-14 tie, regardless of team Europe continuing to provide a homebase for the Cup.
      Lewis put the team in a position to win, and that's all you can ask of a captain. She had the foresight to ride Lexi and Megan successfully in ways that most others doubted.
      Btw, work on your reading skills, no one said 'keep her for 10yrs'.

      BTW on our feed, a male British announcer was criticizing Europe for their celebration of a DRAW before the final match ended. Is that "boorish"? Was he lying? You only see things your way. Young people these days exhibit plenty of bad behavior.....yes even those immaculate Europeans......glass houses.

    @lpga thanks for putting content on youtube but this one was hard to follow because the on screen graphics were poor. Having the EUR/USA score on screen the whole time and only briefly flashing the player+score up made it very hard to follow. Not to mention, you'd display the name of the player hitting a shot and whether they were up or down but it wouldn't show who their competitor was.

    I'd love to see a shootout like they do in hockey. Have two players play the 18th hole. If there's a tie then two more players will play the 18th. Keep doing this until one team wins

      Are you kidding me... Lexi made numerous putts, numerous solid shots throughout this event. She finished 3-1, only outdone by Carlota and Megan.
      I certainly had my doubts coming into this competition, but Lexi along with Stacy's decision to ride Lexi, proved me wrong.

    It's a tie! Why we can't have playoffs to determine a winner? For such a major tournament, we cannot have a tie and call it a win (or lose) at the end of it.

      read some history. You have to 'take' the cup to get it. A tie doesnt get it. Same with Ryder cup.

      @bcrater6400 thanks for your response. I understand that as the rule and history stand, we have to "over win" it in order to "win" it. I am just saying the rule should be re-looked for these major team championships, so we can call win a win, not "over win" a win. Just my personal opinion.

      @Dickie2702 I just happen to feel that many of the Europeans come here to college (probably free) learn how to play competitively, are taught by our teachers...where many of our players DO NOT go the college route and are pretty much paying their own way...

      But as you are appearing to try to take some credit for Europe's performance try looking back over the previous iterations of this competition and also the Ryder Cup to see we are consistently out ranked by our American counterparts but have a different attitude to team play and that has secured alot of success for our girls and boys. I presume they leant that, for free, in America? If so, the whole of Europe thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.

    The match ended in a draw. A bit sad to see the media describe it as a victory for the Europeans. Europe didn't win - they just retained the trophy.

    Great performance by the Europeans, it was wonderful entertainment and a gritty fight back from the day 1 foursomes. What an awful video edit however. Highlights of the final day, surely you would have considered showing each match ending and the drama of how!

    I tried to watch the liv golf. I managed to watch it for about four minutes before I switched it off. Womens golf is way better than liv golf, and they don't look like five year old school kids in those ridiculous shorts they wear on the liv golf. It's time they had some better sponsorship for the womens tours.
