- In today's video I have found a different offering on the Too Good To Go app - a pub in Dorset offering a bag.
But what could it contain? Food from their menu? Bottled drinks? Crisps and nuts?
Only one way to find out - hop in the car and head over there!!

Well that had an unexpected twist didn't it!
At least TGTG were good enough to both refund the order and give an additional voucher for the inconvenience
@@GreenoEats Good that they offered the extra £4 to offset against the wasted journey as well. I've found the app people always helpful on the rare occasion I've had an issue.
@@The-KimP 100%, can’t fault the response from TGTG, like yourself I have always found their customer service to be on point! My old man told me this year’s Melplash Show was a cracker by the way, although he was moaning about paying £7 for a tray of roast potatoes ha ha!

Well at least you got a voucher for your trouble. I went to collect a Morrisons cafe bag 2 weeks ago. Traffic meant I arrived with abiut 7 minutes to spare but was told 'we've aldready given the last two out'.
I think they asked the person before me if they'd ordered 2. They said yes and were handed over without checking, hence nothing left for me.. I complained, got my £2.49 back but no voucher for the inconvenience. If I try that one again I'll definitely be there early to collect. You live and learn 😊
Yeah it’s not a perfect system is it. I think the reason I got that voucher is it was TGTGs fault for listing that bag, when the pub was no longer doing TGtG. And I had a right whinge in my mail to them too ha ha!

I have a suggestion for your next video. In east burton there is a restaurant called the seven stars it is the best restaurant I have ever been to! Please go there!
Know it well. My Mum was good friends with the owners Steve and Gill as she used to run pubs in the area too. Nice spot to stop for a shandy when out on a bike ride!
I've had quite a few orders cancelled, and one experience of turning up to collect to be told "oh we cancelled that" when they didn't. One experience where they claimed "our system isn't working". TGTG always refunded but it's still a bit annoying when you've made the trip. Good idea to always have a couple of backups in the freezer..jumbo sausages beans and chips is our emergency go to!
Yeah, the system certainly has its flaws. Definitely worth having back up options in case the bag is either cancelled or just filled with weird stuff!
@@GreenoEats haha! You just reminded me of our Starbucks haul - we were expecting muffins and cakes, and got 4 vegan falafel breakfast wraps and 4 vegan falafel normal wraps, plus some plant-based yoghurt thing. Even vegans can only stomach so much falafel at a time, I reckon!

you may get the unused nuts from the bar. or as Sorry timothy says i do not like these nuts some one sucked off all the chocolate.
That is a bad thing you save some food waste but waste some time and fuel to go to the place.
they should have just did something for you it is a bit bad they should have checked the app and made sure that there listing was removed.
You have to ask how many times does this happen. or you turn up and the place is shut, or they forgot to cancel there offer since it can be put up auto each day. It is not good for the environment
I remember Sorry! "Language Timothy" his Mum used to say. I guess like all technology there are glitches sometimes. Was a pity it wasted our time and diesel. But at least the customer service offered was good by TGTG.
