I think the insignia is one of the older insignias for Pori Prikaati. For more info, here's a couple of links, their actual website within the Finnish military website, and a wikipedia article maavoimat.fi/en/pori-brigade en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pori_Brigade
Finish military would never consider a knife as weapon, but a tool...look around you tube and you will realize for the most part they would cringe at the thought of it being a weapon
My father had a Friend that served as a Captain in the Finish army WW11. On one expedition a Russian Sniper was causing them damage. He set his firearms down and went into the forest . 2 days later he came back. With the Sniper's Ears! I was given a Finish knife by a Finish Major (Finbat Sinai)(my father was Liaison Colonel). I carried that knife into Beirut and multiple deployments on the West Bank. Great knife tool and weapon. I still have it.
Helle is not pronounced "hell" since there are no silent letters in the Finnish language. It ends in a short unstressed open "e" sound (same as the first e in that word). It might be weird for English speakers to pronounce as English words never end in an unstressed "e"-sound. Instead in the English language they get diphthongized into "ay", like "caf-fay" in café.
What a special gift. Beautiful knife.
