's not the words you say, but how you say it I saved a picture where your hair was braided They found your wallet in the cemetery You told your daughter she was ordinary You hate the name Junior Your husband loved his computers You mother never was one The eldest of seven children If you don't have it, then you'll never give it And I don't blame you for the way you living A little boy was born in February You couldn't sober up to hold a baby You hate the name Donna You love to judge strangers' karma We drove from New Jersey The trucks always made you worry Oh, my henna tattoo Go to bed it's way too late You hate the name Donna You love to judge strangers' karma You drove from New Jersey The trucks always made you worry You raised a saint, Donna You love to judge strangers' karma You praying for a funeral You're singing like Hallelujah You're singing like Hallelujah You're singing like Hallelujah You're singing like Hallelujah You're singing like Hallelujah
Sav Anastasia thanks so much for the lyrics, some small things, after the trucks always made you worry the lyrics are “hold my hand now, time to go to bed it’s way too late” also the lyrics are “you raised a Saint daughter” much love ❤️
I just found your account and you play so well! and have good music taste haha. do you play off of sheet music or RUclips tutorials or by ear? finding sheet music is so hard! You’re so talented!
Thank you sooo much!! That's incredibly nice of you to say. I play most of my songs (this song, for example) by looking up the chords and playing them as the base with my left hand, then playing the lyrics/piano solos with my right hand by ear. (I used to be horrible at this, but knowing the chords makes it much easier, lol). I play off of sheet music for some of the more complicated songs, like Nightshade or Patience. I typically use Musescore for free sheet music, but it's definitely a limited selection, so being able to play off of chords really helps!
@@megancunninghame2340 you are so so sweet to get back to me! and that's great! if I feel like singing with the chords haha I also look up ukulele chords (I play uke and piano haha) but that's such a good idea to try the harmony by ear. haha oh I use musescore too! or google free pdfs hahaha. that's awesome! you must have a gift to be playing one hand by ear!
