We are so excited! We are getting 6 or more inches. In La we just don’t get this. They say it has been 100 years ago since Louisiana had this snow. It is powdery good snow. I cooked Crawfish and shrimp etouffee today but when I get to the store I will be making this dish. Love your channel.

I hope you get your snow, my family and friends all around the lower 48 got their snow!! Funny story about when I wanted to make chicken Marsala years ago. I looked all over for a Marsala sauce…. Finally someone told me it was a wine, we don’t drink either had a good laugh after I heard that, so chicken broth was it!

I have been wanting to try the hearts of palm items, linguine and rice. Thanks for using it so I can see if it is a good product. I have kidney disease so watch my sodium closely.

That looks delicious. It is the Marsala wine that makes it chicken marsala. You should coin your own name for the casserole. It does indeed look good though.

I agree. It needs to be renamed. It can't be Chicken Marsala with no Marsala. But I'm sure it's a good chicken casserole.

Thank you for your comment. I thought about the same thing before I finally decided go ahead and give it the original name. There is only 1/4 cup of wine in this dish. It taste like chicken Marsala snd looks like chicken Marsala. I didn’t think 1/4 cup of wine would make a difference in the taste and I left it to you to include it if desired. Yes, It is delicious 😋

We are posting a beginning level explanation to start your learning. It will compare carb counting to glycemic load carb counting. Both counts of carbs use one gram of sugar as a standard carb value. Glycemic Load carbs will be fewer for a food serving than carb count because measures the number of carbs the body thinks it must react with insulin with. In low glycemic load foods the number felt by the body is always lower than the actual traditional carb count per serving. Your body does not react to all the carbs in low glycemic foods. This means you can eat more of the food at a sitting per the GL carbs than you can by using the traditional carb count without spiking your insulin. The spiking insulin turns your fat factory on and you add a little fat each time. It also drives your body a little toward diabetes and other things. You don't want to spike your sugar and insulin but you want to eat as many foods and in the largest volumes you can have without spiking them. The glycemic load carb count helps you manage that and stay healthy easier than does just the carb count of the food. The formula for the glycemic load carbs is the carbs in 100 grams of a food times the glycemic index number of the food divided by 100. But you can buy the glycemic load counter by Mabel Blades for under 10 dollars and it will give you over 800 food's glycemic loads in chart format. Watch our channel and I will teach you over the coming months. Google...the difference between carb count and glycemic load count. God bless
